    Well, ordered a bottle. Specifically for my VF-27 Renewal, as that thing is the floppiest of messes.

    Not too surprised that the price went up. Let's not forget how much the Yamato SDF-1 was going for before the Arcadia releases.

    I'll probably end up dumping my 5700 XT for a 3060 or 3070. Most of the driver issues are fixed, but I still can't output sound over the HDMI without occasional hideously bad static issues that need a reboot to fix. The whole experience soured me to AMD cards, after giving them a chance this time around. Plus my display has g-sync.

    I had the same issue with the feet being suuuuuuper stiff when trying to bend them backwards. Eventually managed it, but dear god it took a lot of force.

    Having recently looked into doing this for an international USPS package (which did eventually show up), I can tell you that you cannot claim as the addressee. I think of all the shipping services, USPS may be the only one that allows the receiver to make a claim, and only for domestic service. The default is sender makes the claim.

    The sender has to make claims for shipping damage, not the receiver.

    Damn! I noticed the outer shipping box was a bit flimsy with mine, but fortunately it came through intact. Something sat on that sideways, you're lucky it doesn't seem to have broken the actual plane.

    Was more referring to ability, rather then actually doing it. Zentradi, Vajra, and the space-vampires from 7 don't seem like they could even understand hacking, let alone attempt it. As far as hardware firewalls, it really depends how the system is set up. Ghosts by necessity have to be able to accept outside commands. As does the VF-25 (seen by remote piloting in Frontier+Movies). Presumably all of the Ex-Gear fighters share similar abilities. In the beginning of Frontier, the ghosts are shown as going nuts as soon as they enter the com-jamming bubbles the Vajra create, so they are at least somewhat reliant on external signals to function (Judas system aside).

    Some of you guys make me glad my memory is entirely non-visual. So I never have to worry if things are screen-accurate or not, just if they look good. Though I think the grey goggles look better with the GBP than the white.

    Probably helps that almost all the enemies of the various Macross series are not the types that could hijack a VF through hacking the external control interface (Sharon Apple and Windermere aside). The most common enemy is the Zentradi, and they can barely maintain their own equipment. Also there's a loooong history of Ghost usage, so there's very advanced remote-operation tech (as in Frontier it's shown that local AI is heavily limited).

    Pretty sure it was the fish-eye effect from taking close-up pictures with a phone camera.

    It also depends when in the schedule your package showed up. There's not a ship leaving every day, so transit times can vary a bit.

    Well, Amazon Japan just charged me for the VF-1J Armored. So that's still on schedule looks like.

    You can also post the weblink to the Arcadia site (https://arcadia.ac/products/detail.php?product_id=302) into the search bar at FromJapan and order through them. Will be more expensive than NY, but you won't have to deal with NY. I bought one PF VD-0D PF that way, no issues. My second one from NY is still on the way (via Ferry).

    If they are equivalent prices, you'd be a fool to go with NY. Only reason to use NY is if you're saving money and are fine with a delay. Or if you need to dodge import taxes. Amazon Japan prime shipping (when item is sold by AJ) is decently packaged and quite fast DHL for a very low price. There's no contest when it comes to customer service.
