Definitely looks like either a stripped screw/socket or a peg-in that the glue gave out on.

So, after looking at that thread, it looks like Chronicle is quietly imploding. Meanwhile an ex co-owner sued them, and apparently got a good portion of clients and licensors after the suit, and is about to start-up business making collectibles. Sounds like a mess all around.

In nVidia's defense, the crashing only happens when running at well above standard clock speeds. -
Calibre Wings 1/72 Prometheus Elevator Diorama Display Set

I imagine the prototype's tolerances are a bit looser overall. Hopefully the rails are a bit tighter on the production model (which would help with the tilting). Really though, the rails seem a bit narrow compared to the length of the platform.- 113 replies

Specifically when she pokes out of the changing room door, and everyone realizes what that thing was zooming down the hallway with. Those guys got whiplash.

I'm wondering price as well, I've had a Yamato Weathered Roy sitting at Jungle since just after EMS/SAL got stopped.

If I could only have 10 Macross toys... I'd have a lot more "Robotech" toys...

Did you check the tracking info? Over in the US DHL usually delivers in half a week at most.

Something where the transformation is designed so that two different forms look a particular way, and anything goes in achieving it. Whereas for Valkyries, there is importance placed on the transformation as well, rather than just the various forms being accurate.

Same, mine's also on the way. Finally a Misa figure for the display.- 2130 replies

6x Reaction Missiles is certainly shown in a lot of art and media for something that's "non-canon".

I think I'll skip paying another $100 or so (after Proxy fees and shipping) for the tails...

Pretty sure that you can do the three following loadouts all at the same time: 6x Reaction Missiles (DYRL) 4x Missile Boxes (DYRL) 4x Missile Trees (TV) If you want a mixed loadout, then yes it won't spread as far.
-
Well, I do admit that I don't mind at all not having a full set of missiles for each VF. Nominally you only need to buy 1 missile pack for every 3 VFs to load them out. Plus I do appreciate how small the VF boxes are, what with shipping prices (especially compared to Yamato boxes).
-
They've already done 2 releases for the Missile Set, wouldn't bet against another one.

Still waiting for the Inevitable Mercurius and Vayeate set on the US site. Given that Wing is more popular in the US than in Japan.

Yeah, that's a quality "oof" there. One of the reasons I still have a Jungle purchase sitting and waiting, rather than trying to forward through Tenso.
-
Ah, I assume something happened to you like it happened to me. Ordered some artbooks off Amazon Japan to my Tenso address, and they slapped on a ¥4000 fee for weight, on top of the shipping charge and the service fee.
-
Both of those Roys from Amazon Japan are ¥18k base price, it's just shy of ¥41,000 after DHL shipping.
-
I've got 2 Roy VF-1S on order from Amazon Japan, and delivered it's just under $200each. I also have 4 TV FAST Packs on order for a base price of ¥8800each, 4 DYRL SSP packs that ended up around $100each after shipping and proxy fees, and 5 missile packs that were around $50-$60each after shipping and proxy fees (only one bought at markup). The problem is the scalping and the proxy fees, not the Bandai pricing (or at least not directly).

So currently is it only up on BBTS? I can't find it on the Caliber Wings site or Flying Mule.- 113 replies

Paying more for the Valk? These days Arcadia costs more than Bandai. The days of cheap Yamato valks are long gone, across the whole toy/figure industry. Even the Knockoffs are over $100.

I didn't need another Metal Build Gundam. Yet here I am, with another one on pre-order. I hope you're happy

I imagine it'll be around $180? Though they pretty much always give out pre-order discount codes as well.- 113 replies

It was probably primarily an aerodynamic concept, as in designed solely from an aerodynamic point of view.
