  1. That blows @myk, over here they just say it's signed for by "signature not required", or if I'm lucky confirm someone is home before leaving it on the step (without signature). On the bright side, just got my Roy from Nin-Nin delivered, original (no markup) PO pricing, and no extra shipping charges (I paid $40 for FedEx at time of order though).
  2. $266.90
  3. Man, people are getting theirs from Amazon Japan, and I'm still waiting for mine to ship.
  4. Still waiting for shipment notice from Amazon Japan, for my direct pre-order.
  5. Same, first pre-order set and just got tracking info.
  6. Finally got charged by Amazon Japan. $425 shipped for 2x of them via DHL.
  7. Still waiting for Amazon JP to take my money. Maybe since I got 2.
  8. Worst case I'll offer to trade a Kaki or a YF-29 for a VF-1D.
  9. I'm not sure if it consistently covers 3rd party sellers.
  10. They do not charge consumption tax, they charge US Sales Tax (for buyer's location).
  11. Shipping to California via FedEx/DHL is closer to $45. It's not a great profit margin, but it's still significantly more than the $218.55 (shipping incl) my order with nin-nin is.
  12. These prices are all definitely in oof territory as far as I'm concerned.
  13. If it's a V1 VF-25 it'll fit.
  14. That's for the V1.
  15. My second YF-29 from nin-nin finally showed up. Since the first one was fine, guess I've got a spare I'll be leaving in the bubblewrap until I can unload it at cost.
  16. Here's the thing, aside from P-Bandai/TWE, we are not Bandai's customers. Bandai's customers are the retailers we buy from.
  17. Part of the issue is that more complex VFs will increase the price of the HMR line. Look at the VF-2SS and VF_4 prices, compared to the VF-1. If a VF-0 or VF-25 is getting into the $120-$140 range (MSRP), it's not actually that much cheaper than the MSRP on say a VF-25 was.
  18. Not just that, but Bandai also sells to retailers rather than customers, and retailers hate having things sitting on the shelves. keeping the retailers happy with faster turnover means Bandai can pressure them with lower profit margins, or more Bandai control over shipment size/composition.
  19. Eh, still ends up less than HLJ, just due to the cheaper shipping.
  20. Well, not everyone outside Japan. In the US it's pretty rare for anything to be flagged for customs unless it's a very expensive shipment.
  21. Man I am glad I managed to get in at MSRP, those scalper prices suck.
  22. Hi-Metal Q
  23. I think it's using depth to give the illusion the eyes follow you. Something like what Disney uses in the haunted mansion.
  24. Frontier would be good as well. They could even release Queadluun in TV, DYRL, and Macross F variants to milk the mold.
  25. I agree as well, the long plates on the Yamato (combined with the loose chicken legs) are a nightmare for Battroid posing. Yamato looks great in fighter, but not so good in other modes.
