    Wing hinges seem to be a bit luck of the draw, mine were nice and stiff, but other people reported them sagging some.

    EMS is not carried by a private carrier. It's carried on one end by Japan Post, and on the other by USPS. In other words, both are government entities, and are not operating for profit.

    Sweet, I guess after how well the Klan VF-25 sold, they realized that actually using Macross characters worked so much better than randoms. Can we get a Cathy armored VF-25S, or a Sheryl tornado VF-25F next?

    Interior closet in California, with the doors closed, stays more consistent temperature than the rest of the condo.

    Oh, I’ve got time now, finished my job hunt and have something lined up for my imminent layoff. Now the only thing standing in the way is general hoarding desire, though the prices on those YF-19s is mighty tempting. If I could actually get it.

Last I looked it was like ¥28,000 for an unopened one.

    I built it. Not a fan, very floppy, can't hold together in battroid at all, horrible posing (can't a-stance at all in Gerwalk). The other Bandai 1/72 transforming kits are great, but the VF-1... The best thing I can say about it is that it does in fact transform.

    Because they schedule the production capacity for most of their releases. They decide an amount to produce which they’re sure will all sell without sitting too long (which the retailers like) and then produce that many, and schedule the next production shift for something else. We aren’t Bandai’s customer for normal releases, the retailers are Bandai’s customer.

    That's just the explanation for her weird abilities, the punchline is the rest of the cast reacting to her using them.

    Bofuri I think is it's own special type of comedy alongside say One Punch Man. It's not so much about the main character, as it is about the reaction of the rest of the cast/world to the main character.

    Realistically, when you have things that big moving around they probably have locks or brakes to hold them in place.

    Yup, it's a matter of opinion. I like the extra leg, chest, and backpack bulk on the armored VF-25. Though fighter is the best mode for it, looks like it's from an old SHMUP arcade game.

    Oh, interesting, never even knew about that one. If you do find one and get it scanned I'd be quite interested.

    Mainly I just want to be able to search threads for pertinent information on releases after the fact, rather than sorting through pages of “got one” or “up at x”. Or for that matter pages of people just posting pose pictures, at least add some text on your thoughts... We also have dedicated threads for posing toys, collection pictures, and the like.

    Honestly, I got within a few hours of listing all of my doubles after getting 5week's notice from my job. However since I've now got something new lined up it's gone onto the back burner again. Plus don't quite have the free time to arrange a sale at the moment.

    Yeah, and then you fall down the rabbit hole and I've got 2x VF-31as and 3x YF-19s MISB in my closet, with 1 each opened and on the shelf...

    Nothing more annoying than managing to secure a pre-order, but you find it's defective and you can only return it for a refund and buy from a scalper at markup.

    In my case I usually buy 2, and only open the second in the event that the first has defects. Why don't I just sell the second? Mainly because I haven't run out of space yet. I probably ought to have a big sale of all my extras.

    Same, plus the Arcadia SV-51 is honestly a very nice (and expensive) figure. My copies are nice and stiff, rather than floppy. I'd definitely down for a Nora version, and maybe a CF also.
