  1. So, according to earlier communication from Luna Park: they had subcontracted DHL to do the packaging and shipping. So they just handed the bare boxes to DHL, who then decided to toss them into bags and be done with it. Hopefully on the next release they're better.
  2. I do recall in the final battle Luca stated he was removing the limitations on his ghost drones, so presumably their AIs are locked away/restricted under normal conditions.
  3. Also folding things into new configurations works better for toys than humans.
  4. FYI for all the other people who missed it, but Tite Kubo did a 1-shot bleach chapter for the 20th anniversary. Official translation/reader here: https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/viewer/1009802
  5. James Cameron/Robert Rodriguez did a decent enough job on Alita honestly, they might be able to handle a macross movie. As for M7 though... On one hand you could condense the series considerably without losing anything, on the other not sure if you could condense it into movie length.
  6. The shields reject anything over a certain velocity, so training to both strike just slow enough to penetrate the shield, plus training to be able to actually hit someone with such a slow strike. From the early lessons with Gurney, there’s a focus on feints and counters.
  7. Can confirm the custom weathered DX Roy (+SSP) I got from @Red Comet is quite nice. Not cel-shaded like the LEK customs, but still a nice weathering job plus extra decals.
  8. I’ve been hoping for a Bandai 1/72 VF-31A… I guess it’s a lot more likely we’ll see the 31-AX as a model kit, since they’re hero units. Would have been nice to have a kit without all the ridiculous stickers/decals though!
  9. Well, you are on Macross World, aren't you?
  10. It looked like there were two versions of the figure, a lower cost and a higher cost one. Im going to wait and see if a second version shows up for pre-order, and what it has.
  11. The ratcheting pivots for the engines are a very nice improvement, as the older version had a tendency to sag.
  12. There are triangle replacements, not aware of anything done for the knees though.
  13. They don't release all of the non-HG metal builds, GFFMCs, or Chogokins in the US. Probably going to be quite a while before any Macross ones make it to the US officially. I'm just hoping we get access to the Web Exclusives, since a lot of those for Gundam have started to show up on the US website.
  14. Luna Park had an issue with DHL shoving all their stuff into bags for shipping, rather than boxes, didn't they? They might be changing how they ship items, and you got stuck waiting for the transition.
  15. Well, I've got work in the morning, so I just gave in and paid Luna Park $309 shipped for one. Oh well, at least pay ahead of time isn't so bad when the exchange rate's decent.
  16. Considering 3D printed started with homemade hobbyist builds, I wonder if anyone's designed and built their own decal printer?
  17. You know you want to, just need to find a justification 😉
