I picked up a couple packages from the post office. The Defender is ready to join my growing Hi-Metal R collection. -
Yeah, they're both 3% for me, but Paypal usually has the better base Yen conversion rate for some reason.

I've done Paypal's Yen conversion, and used my own CC as well. Generally Paypal ends up better for me, but not by a huge amount.

If you try and pay in $ at NY it ends up costing quite a bit more, always choose to pay in Yen.

Good news: package from NY with my Lil' Drakens showed up at my house earlier today. Bad news: I wasn't there to sign for it. Nothing like waiting an extra day.

Plus they can use the design of the Yamato as a baseline for the articulation and transformations.

They're also really good about combining shipments, shipping fees, and cancelling items.

This is why mine is going to sit in Private Warehouse and ship with ~6 other things.

The thing I found most interesting is that they don't do their own design, they have dedicated design houses such as T-Rex. Which means that they have some very good design houses they work with, and Arcadia works more on the planning, management, and manufacturing side.

You guys are tempting me, but I've already got the SDF-1, VF-2SS, VE-1, Messer VF-1, and premium Regult set on order (plus a Hi-Rez and a Metal Composite wing zero...). My wallet can only absorb so much.

I wish there were figures for the 31A though, I prefer it without the swept wings.

Yeah, Tomytec certainly altered the proportions quite a bit, though I do like the flatter look of the fighter mode.

I just gave in and built all 3 forms using the Tomytec Gimix kits to go with my DX 262.
