    Just try working it back and forth a bit, you may need to apply uncomfortable amounts of force if it's like my Arcadia VF-1S Roy.

    I'm hoping for a VF-25 in the HMR line, or a newer version of the YF/VF-19. Might even get the VF-4, VF-11, and VF-17.

    Yeah, the one I picked up was 1800yen. I'd wonder why the kimono one went up in price, but I think we all know.

    Well so far I know that the doors cannot be printed in strong/flexible material, they need to be in the detail material due to wall thickness.

    I'm personally wondering how much parts-forming it'll use, and how the underside looks in fighter mode.

    Yes, it'd be nice to know for a fact it'll be better than the 1/60 VF-2SS.

    I don't mind if they're cheap. Both the mirage figs were like $30-$35 with shipping, and the Sheryl was I think around $25 shipped.

    Haven't opened my Mirages yet either, but the Sheryl figure looks good with Skull Squadron. She's about the same height as a VF-25 battroid it turns out.

    My first non-mecha figures (Sheryl and Mirage) just showed up on Monday, I don't judge. The whole transforming bike armor thing looked pretty cool in the pics I saw of it.

    Just uploaded the first pass of parts to shapeways, ends up at $35.88 for a full set of parts made out of white strong/flexible, plus another $10.50 for the metal hinge rods. Looks like using frosted detail will be between $50-$70 depending on ultra or extreme. Acrylic will probably be around $100. [Edit] I've ordered some parts (in various materials) to help figure out the fits and tolerances as well as what materials are suitable.

    It would be nice, but it'll probably be a while, they still haven't even announced a tentative date for the new SV-51s. Plus if they're not going to release the VT-1 and VE-1 then I think they're insane. Btw, if anyone's bummed that they didn't get a chance at the -21, there's 3 up on Yahoo Auctions Japan right now.

    Yeah, Chespest I see one at now is ~25,000 on Yahoo Japan auctions, but I doubt it will sell that low. The other 2 there are starting around 35,000.

    I have the 1/72 for it, and let's be honest. No way in heeeeeeeeelllllllll am I going to manage to get all those decals on straight, and protected, and have them stay on through even a single transformation.

    I'dd be honest, if they made a Deculture/Itasha version of Roid's white Drakken (like this) I would buy the hell out of it.

    Alright, I've got everything separated by parts, all that's left is tweaking the dimensions to adjust the gaps between components. It will be 10 parts as shown above, plus 6 0.5mm/0.02" rods. Should be able to be pre-painted before assembly, excepting the outer shell which will have some seams that need sanding. I haven't yet uploaded anything to Shapeways, so not much of an idea what it'll cost. [edit] One thing to note is that there currently are no tabs holding the doors closed, it just relies on the friction of the steel rods.

    I'm really sad that it's not as popular, it's an entirely new transformation and even appearance compared to previous valkyries. If only it was less of a pain to transform.

    Funny enough, that happened with my VF-1S Messer as well. I'm going to need to start poking them after a week for every order I suppose.

    It was ¥35,000 from Mandarake, only damage I know of is a small chip in one of the black panels on the underside. https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1075649964&ref=list Considering how rare it is to even see a YF-21 for sale I jumped on it (at 3am when I got the alert email, lol). [edit] I keep meaning to stop buying figures for a month and get some of your stands instead to use with them, but things like this keep tempting me.

    Yeah, Mirage was probably the best thing about that show, aside from the new Valk designs. Plus both of those figures have nice sculpts.

    Some boxes showed up today. Boxes full of awesome. I blame @Saburo for inciting me to get the Mirage figures.

    I may actually sell my normal version when the Premium ships, since I can't cancel it (through Hobby Search). I just knew they were sold out as I keep a web-alert on the pages for Macross/Arcadia stuff up so I can know when new things are available.
