    The RVF 25+super/ghost is a great looking setup, to me at least. Couple things to note. The wings won't fold all the way up in battroid due to the dish, but it still looks good (kinda locke a rocket-pack). Not strictly perfect transformation due to an extender that's needed between the arm and the shield due to the fin.

    The only problem with the above is that the tornado packs are exclusively for the 2 most expensive VF-25s: Alto and Michael. Ozma and Luca are a decent amount cheaper.

    The traditional placement of under the arms would be analogous to the way it's mounted on the pod, which I can't replicate due to space. I'll pull out the calipers and see if I can bash something out tomorrow. On a separate note, got the FED printed missile doors in from shapeways, which means I now have all the parts to assemble. Going to wait until the 31a shows up though so I can properly match the paint colors. That said, I got the fit good enough I managed a snap-fit:

    It's up for pre-order on the usual websites, has been for a while. I've got 2 on order, probably going to ditch the one from HLJ.

    Probably, but not sure they'd be very durable out of most of the plastics available. Even the Acrylate material might wear over time.

    I know I'll end up getting one, the only question on my mind is if I want to buy it straight off, or wait until after release and try and save some money (assuming it goes down like the other 262).

    Yeah, that's my next one to tackle, after I work up a bracket for attaching the rifle to one of the wing hardpoints that is. Looking at the book images, I think the cannons are meant to retract straight back rather than in from the sides, but I'm definitely planning to get it as flush as possible, it looks like the custom one pictured didn't actually retract all the way.

    The re-done scheme might explain the wait to release the Ba version? WTF on the 31 with Drakkens though, there's not hardpoints available for that at all.

    Yeah, though if everything is still available they have let me cancel and re-order everything as one. Going to try asking if they can add an item to an existing order, as there's a Gurren Lagann that I'd like to ship with my premium SDF-1.

    Decision overload While confirming Blu-ray with a pose, I made a projection unit! Osassu Modeler seems to be an entrant with the regular captain of the macross series pretended!

    Durability is good, but the features melted together, had huge amounts of nubs that needed to be cleaned (all over), and one part had a gigantic print line through it.

    Looking good, those details definitely call for FUD/FED printing. After getting a test-part, I would not suggest acrylate.

    So, according to HLJ, it's 15.5cm tall. If this is referring just to the girl, then that puts it a bit shorter (~10%) than the 17cm of the Banpresto Mirage.

    I got 2 things in the mail today. The 00 Raiser I picked up at the beginning of October on sale from Nippon Yasan and just arrived. The book shipped out Monday from Amazon.

    Yeah, the armor parts in Delta were pretty underwhelming. Then again, so was the lack of missile massacre and the combat scenes...

    So, for least cleanup you want either Frosted Ultra Detail or Frosted Extreme Detail. However, both are a bit more brittle than any of the strong+flexible plastics or the Acrylate. Acrylate is very durable and has decent detail (similar to FUD), but will require more cleanup of the support nubs and also you'll need an 0.5mm drill bit to clean out the holes for the hinge shafts. Personally I printed mine out of FUD, and the only part I'm worried about breaking is the doors. Note that the doors cannot be printed out of anything but FUD, FED, or Acrylate due to the 0.5mm hole.

    Those are assembled and painted figures (accessories for figures in this case) rather than model kits.
