    So, just wondering, do the canards not seem to mesh properly with the body to anyone else? There's always a decent sized gap on mine.

    Looks nice, but the big question is how the city will look, and if it'll have any paint applied.

    Didn't let me, had to link my paypal account and they charged it directly, not like HLJ where I can decide to pay via card through paypal. Might be different now, or if you don't have a linked paypal account. In either event they're letting me use a CC now, so it's all good.

    It never gave me the option, had to pay through my paypal account (and pay the currency conversion thru them) rather than my foreign transaction card.

    Depending on location they also accept credit cards. I'm in one of their no-CC locations (California), but after giving them several kidneys worth they've let me use CC.

    The green bag is actually green tea+caramel flavored corn puffs. They're pretty good, green tea is more of an accent and aftertaste. As to the 31a, I've still got 2 on order, but shelled out for this open box one since can't be sure if they'll ever show. Definitely been opened and at least partially transformed, plus it's got a topcoat defect in the usual spot.

    Considering that at 33,000 and 35,000 they sold out in minutes, or possibly seconds, I don't blame them. Glad I managed to pick up the 33,000 one.

    One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn't belong. I just can't get past the McDonalds color scheme and how they actually put a face on a veritech...

    I got the opened one, so it's probably got some defects (a scalper would have sold sealed). I'll take a look in a few hours when I'm not at work.

    I have mine sharing a box with a VF-1A from NY, so I had to pay for them together.

    I still want a Maruyama, but not about to spend ¥28,000 on the only one they have in stock (opened, too), at least not for a few months to recover from 31a, Premium SDF, and various other things. I really hope they come out with more 262s, even if they don't make a ver 1.5 (though that'd be great given how much better the transformation on the 1/72 model is).

    I meant to use Mandarake, because the price he listed was totally gouging. Mandarake is awesome.

    That's a typical explanation for delayed production, or lower produced volumes. Also the top-coat flaws which are seen in multiple copies in the same, or similar, locations. it's a supposition, not a fact.

    Remember: This is supposed to an item with direct web-sales from Bandai, not something sold by third party vendors. Japanese culture/customer service is a bit different than American/Western customer service.

    So it sounds like Bandai had a QC/yield issue and is having to ship them off the assembly line as they're done.
