I think you were the one who mentioned it was for sale at Anime Export. Could be mistaken though. -
Picked this up thanks to a tip from @Shizuka the Cat. Turns out the box was opened, but the tray was still sealed.

I'm pretty sure Ebay absorbs the discount, rather than the seller. I'd give them a week, making sure all communications go through EBay, then if you're not satisfied file a dispute through EBay. They have no leg to stand on as the listing violated EBay's requirements for pre-orders.

VF-1S Roy, and VF-S Roy Premium have both already been released. Hell, I've got one on my shelf right now. Ask for clarification from them, as to why they're selling an already released item as a Pre-order. Also with that release date they're outside EBay's window for disputes, and also outside EBay's policy for acceptable pre-orders.

It might dip for a bit if there truly is a large shipment coming in, but I imagine it'll eventually go right back up, seeing as this is a very popular iteration of one of the best designed valkyries Bandai has put out, and it wasn't a retail release on top of that. Plus there'll be some inertia that people are already seeing it worth paying ¥48,000 for. Look at how the VF-0D went up in price, even though it wasn't the best of the Arcadia VF-0 valkyries.

Poked the ebay seller I ordered a 31A from, and seems like they got it in the recent wave, going to ship out after Golden Week.

Depends if I get my two from EBay and NY or not. Paying 31,000 for a 31J Kai from Mandarake is a lot cheaper than 48,000 for a 31A.

You ought to be able to make it glow with non-visible light. UV/blacklight might not be the best idea though, since UV is what causes plastic degradation. Illuminating with white light that doesn't have UV ought to be very safe.

Got an email with a discount code from HLJ as well, for the Aile Strike rather than the YF-19. 10% is nothing to sneeze at.

The Yamato ones are still sought after, but with the Arcadia releases I think the demand has gone down, and those who aren't particular about having Yamato versions can just get the Arcadias.

Arcadia's released both Max and Milia VF-1s, so those aren't hard to get. The VF-22s and Queadluuns however...

I just live somewhere that the cost of living is so obtusely insane that spending ~12k on figures so far doesn't really make much of a difference in saving for a house.

Honestly, with all the Arcadia 19s going on the secondary market once the Bandai is released, I feel no need for this. I might pick up a used Arcadia -19 though, so I can display in both fighter and battroid with both Arcadia and Bandai.
