    Yeah, the robot and gerwalk parts of it can be bad, but macross plus had great dogfighting choreography, same with macross zero. Probably why those two are some of my favorite animes.

    I was thinking the same thing about the spaces around the arms and the arm guns. It looks like they may be able to stay clipped on in fighter mode with how large those gaps are.

    They're doing quite a few changes apparently. Cockpit, feet, adding mount-points for the fold booster and arm weapons, are there any I'm missing? I wonder if they will add better hip joints since they're already doing a bit of re-molding work.

    I actually still need a CF-1A to go with that thunder-hammer I've got on order, I'll keep an eye out if anyone wants to sell on the For Sale/Trade forum.

    But wasn't the Japanese court's decision that Tatsunoko never owned any rights to the mecha designs to begin with?

    A thought, if this reverts to a Tatsunoko/Big West issue, as they're both Japanese companies and it's been settled in Japanese courts, do you think Tatsunoko would have to give the US trademark to Big West due to the Japanese case?

    I've got a pre-order in. As to if I'll build it or not... I'll let my gigantic backlog speak for me.

    As someone who cares not one iota what shape the box is in, the toys inside are pretty much mint unless it specifies "used", and almost every single box is noted as having some form of damage. Usually there will be pictures of the specific box, so you can judge for yourself. I wouldn't expect the box to be mint, though you might have better luck as the 31JKai has a sleeve that may protect the box itself. Their packaging is decent, but I've had the shipping boxes dinged with some frequency, even EMS.

    Speak for yourself, I started collecting less than 2 years ago, and all this stuff is awesome. Plus, I don't really play with my figures, or transform them back and forth much, so they don't degrade as quickly. The VF-27 with it's huge gun has serious sag issues though, needs some fishing line.

    Ultimately, from my perspective, Bandai is to blame for not making these available outside Japan except via grey-market, and then cutting supply. NY may have crap customer service, but I understood that when I ordered from them. I expected better out of Bandai.

    As with anything produced in China costing more than $5, I'd like to see reviews of a production version before I get too happy. It looks like it's be pretty awesome for doing scale kit parts though, but the 115x65x155mm print area is pretty tiny.

    Third line from the bottom, right 5 characters (inbetween the commas), translate as "various missiles".

    Shouldn't be too hard to make DX->Arcadia stand adapters, or vise-versa if people want a light-up fold dildo on their DX. I suppose it would be DX-> Yamato, DX->Arcadia, and Yamato->DX I'll probably work some up, since I've got 2 Yamato fold-boosters, and an Arcadia -19 and Yamato -21.

    Well, I'll be getting two, from two different retailers, so long as I can actually get POs in.

    FYI, you can use email+identifier@google.com instead of email@google.com for your shopping emails. It'll at least let you know who is leaking your email, and also let you sort/filter. Anything after the + is ignored for routing, but still shows up in your inbox. example: you could set up your CDJ account as email+CDJ@google.com, and it'll show up in your email@google.com mailbox.
