Remember, we're just watching an in-universe action-flick based on the real history. Or something.

I'm just happy it's under 20,000yen, that means I have zero reason to hunt Yamato 1/48s anymore.

Full Metal Panic! Action Figures
Sanity is Optional replied to Archer's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It it's P-Bandai, you should have at least several days to get an order in, rather than needing to get one pre-order night.- 347 replies

In this case, it really seems to be about battroid articulation. This thing looks to be able to pull off way more poses than a yamarcadia.

It's P Bandai? Cool, I can focus on just getting the Bandai VF-1J during pre-order madness then, and grab the Gernsback (x2) later.- 347 replies

The sire you grabbed from doesn't allow hotlinking. Bandai YF-21 would be awesome. Also a VF-11B while they're at it? If they're going for Macross 7 they may as well, since that'd get them the VF-11C as well.
-
Your image broke. Also, Bandai is releasing a YF-19, which means they do have license to make 1/60 valks from Macross Plus.
-
I'm guessing there's a pivot in the T-bar, probably the head of the T rotates around the shaft, and they've made it so the shaft is at the rotational axis of the nosecone.

If you're here at release time tomorrow this thread will be full of links to buy from. Which should be good for at least 30 seconds.
-
Not sure there's much point in them making Desdroids, when the Yamato ones are still in the $100-$150 range.

It just looks weird that in all of Macross the head lasers are cylindrical, or tapered cylinders, except for this one case where they're more oval. It'd look fine if there was a gap down the middle instead of that web plate.

Their YF-19 and VF-0 figures were not just remolds, they can and do make new figures. Like the upcoming SV-51 redesign as well.

Keep an eye on this topic, I imagine people will be posting when it shows up available. Otherwise, you can use a web monitor like Distill to alert you when it's available.

Macross 0 may not have had the best plot, but by god the dogfights were amazing.

I think you may be SOL, unless you can find an ebay or proxy seller. You should have a chance to pick it up online at release though, if you're online at the right time.
-
I think the only anime was a short OVA of motorball. There's quite a few manga volumes though. 9 in the initial series, then another 19 in the second series.

No answer yet, but given Bandai's other DX Chogokin valks, the ordinance will be bundled with the super/strike pack add-on.

Bandai 1/72 Scale Transformable Macross Δ Kits
Sanity is Optional replied to IXTL's topic in Model kits
I did a somewhat in-depth build-log of the VF-27 Brera, but that's about it. It'd be great is there were more reviews. Dalong includes quite a few of the Bandai 1/72 kits in their Bandai Etc category. -
Bandai 1/72 Scale Transformable Macross Δ Kits
Sanity is Optional replied to IXTL's topic in Model kits
That's the biggest reason I only ever bought one VF-31 kit. The stickers are a nightmare. Really tempted to just spray it flat grey and be done. Especially the stickers that go under the canard hinges, that just come right back off when the hinge moves. On top of the Decals needing all the edges trimmed so they fit on the parts. The 1/72 SV-262 transforms WAY better than the DX Chogokin, as it's got a slightly simplified transformation mechanism. I had no issues transforming my SV-262 kit around through the different modes. -
YF-21 please, Arcadia. Bandai's just started on their 1/48 line, whereas Arcadia's finished the main bunch (aside from Kakizaki and VF-1As), plus being different scale. From here I could see Arcadia going straight to the more valuable VF-1 versions, like VT-1, VF-1D, VE-1. They could also focus on non-macross stuff for a bit, and let the various SV-51 hold them over while they try to (re)engineer something new. Maybe they'll do a re-print of the Yamato VF-11?

Friday 12am PST, as in the midnight where Thursday becomes Friday.

It's also interesting to note that the hardpoints aren't the standard Bandai style, they instead look very similar to the Yamato/Arcadia style.
