  1. I posted my Hikaru VF-1J (standalone release) with 101 armor a bit earlier. Crappy pictures though.
  2. I'll enjoy it because it's close enough, the animation wasn't super-consistent to begin with. edit: Plus, to be completely honest, earlier today was the first time I ever watched DYRL.
  3. I just got a shipping notice for mine, and a tracking number. They seem to have sent out a batch of emails and boxes, since it shows up 2min after my HMR shipping notice.
  4. Just got shipping notice from CDJ on mine. SAL, just one HMR in the box. [edit] Also say they shipped my Aile Strike, in a separate box. SAL
  5. I doubt the Yamato will go up in Value, though Arcadia's might.
  6. I think the only 1/48 Yamato I'd want more is the weathered VF-1S Roy, probably. As far as a straight VF-1S Roy I'll just wait for the Bandai one. The grey scheme and weathering looks great. Everything looks good upon first inspection, though one of the tiny covers on the VF-19 may be missing. They also mauled the Regult box a bit, but I'm happy enough just to get a normal Regult to go with my missile set.
  7. Got my shipping notice today for my OWL 1 units. Which arrived yesterday. Today some stuff I bought on Yahoo Japan Auctions showed up.
  8. I'd go with the hex-packs, or the 3-missile trees.
  9. They say "not available" once pre-orders are filled, but before it's released. Once it's released it'll go to "in stock".
  10. FWIW, I bought a Milia Premium during their flash sale, and it only took them a week to ship it out. I like it, as it helps the items arrive in good condition. NY has some of the best packaging of items, bubble wrap and a conformal box that doesn't let things rattle or crumple.
  11. You can still order through ZenMarket, FromJapan, or DeJapan.
  12. Got home to a surprise, my 101 and 102F showed up. Unfortunately one of the shoulder armors was missing the grey part in front. I'll contact Fext and ask them to ship the missing part.
  13. Not entirely sure what I'm supposed to be seeing here.
  14. I think HG is a bit more litigious than most.
  15. Over on Yahoo Japan Auctions they're not going too expensive, mine ended up about $200 shipped after tax, EMS, and proxy fees.
  16. Good to hear, I've got a low Vis VF-1A on the way from YJA, since 1/48 is a thing again.
  17. YF-21, either them or Bandai, but with both Arcadia and Bandai making YF-19s, we need a 1/60 YF-21 to go with, and the old Yamato ones are not cheap.
  18. The way I look at it, I may loose some cash once and a while using SAL (haven't yet, knock on wood), but overall I'll save back at least that much in lower shipping costs vs EMS. This does explain why some stores refuse to ship DX Chogokin valks via SAL though.
  19. The molds are probably worn. Fine detail is among the first things to go.
  20. Hard to say, since people are aware of it ahead of time now, and a lot will be buying extras.
  21. Me too, that'll be pretty awesome. I'm still wondering if it'll be able to transform while wearing the arm cannon. If so, then that's pretty impressive.
  22. I may do a revision after taking some more micrometer measurements of the handle. I'm torn if I'd rather have it slightly loose by default, or slightly tight. Sanding the interior of the clip is a pain, but adding material (nail polish or superglue) is a bit less exact.
