Best price pre-order was probably Nippon Yasan, and best shipped price at release was Amazon Japan. No idea what the prices are right now, but Mandarake's got one for only ¥35,000 if you're desperate.

HLJ Private warehouse shipped alongside my YF-19. The other 2 YF-19s are from CDJ and AmiAmi. Fortunately all have their antenna intact.

Finally picked up my 2nd and third. HLJ, CDJ, and AmiAmi: all 3 antennas are just fine. Phew.

Try emailing HLJ customer service about the discount code not working? Just checked my email from that incident, and it said good until May 1st 2019. [edit] Mine worked fine when I used it a couple months back.

QC generally covers process variance, rather than baseline design issues. Technically this would fall under packaging design I think.

This is somewhat unfortunate on my end. Had my international card locked due to possible fraud, and the reissue hasn't showed yet. Guess I might have to eat the conversion fee this time.

Well, glad I got enough of them I can just have one permanently in battroid mode. Or at least find which one transforms the easiest, and leave any troublesome one(s) static as fighter.

Hold on...Taking my sealed YF-19 into work and sticking it in one of our X-ray inspection systems.

The battroid isn't bad, but the fighter looks terrible to me.

It's probably due to the figure bouncing around inside the box, more than the box being pushed down into the figure.

It was when Island 7 got separated from the fleet, and they were gathering both equipment and people able to operate it.

It seems more like a failure of box design. Not enough clearance between the laser and the top of the box. If you're going to pack them that close, needs Styrofoam cutouts, not just plastic.

To be absolutely fair, I suspect the entire "absent minded professor" trope is influenced by highly intelligent people on the spectrum. -
I know your feeling, I actually ended up with 3 (2 unreliable pre-orders, plus one panic-bought open article from Mandarake). Only the one I bought open has been put on display, and I'm really debating what to do with the other 2. [edit] Selling them is a little tempting, but planning to move somewhere with more display space, so I might end up doing a 3-mode display. Plus there's the possibility of "armored" packs for them.
