    I always thought it was more of a grey area, as it's importing for personal usage (at least if you buy it from an overseas site). Anyway, any thoughts on what the next VF-4 they make will be? We all know they're going to milk the mold somehow.

    Don't buy items from NY unless on pre-order, or shortly after release. They do have "used" items masquerading as "new" if it's an old item they've re-acquired stock for. Of course, with their mark-ups for items after release, that should have been obvious from the start. Also, pay for everything in Yen, the exchange rates they offer are terrible, much better to pay 3% or so on a card conversion fee.

    I'd absolutely love a VF-11B or C, and some CF VF-25 HMRs for army building purposes.

    I think that's about right, plus the VF-4 seems to be more well-liked than the VF-2SS was. If they do a VF-11, -19, -21/-22, or -25 it'll be one hell of a pre-order night.

    Is it that they were trying to be lighthearted? Mainly it just felt like they had plot points to get through, and screw trying to explain it, or have the characters react to it. It felt like the main characters were on a ride visiting different displays, but not reacting to them, and without any given room on the ride affecting the next.

    I'll probably end up dumping my backup from HLJ, or letting someone else buy it off me at cost and shipping it to them from PW. I've learned not to rely on a single-source though.

    I'm not sure being lighthearted was Reconguista's problem. Having watched it, I'd go more with the absolute mess that the plot and characters were, and heavy reliance on support material to explain WTF was going on.

    So, looking at the 1/1700 White Base that just went on pre-order from the same line, this should both have lights and gimmicks (probably part-swap gimmicks).

    I'll probably just get 1 of these, not a big fan of the Gerwalk or Battroid forms, but the Fighter looks good. Of course, I'll end up with more than 1 later on after the mold milking starts.

    I usually stay away from girly figs, but Sheryl (and Mirage) is an exception. I'll try and grab one of the Kuji figures later this month. Either the blue, or the cape-less one. [edit] Now that I think about it, in all of Macross the only "Idol" girl I actually like is Sheryl. Though I at least don't hate the DYRL Minmay, and Mylene from 7 is decent.

    Comparing 7 and delta, I'd say they're within spitting distance of eachother. The difference is that 7 starts bad and gets better, while Delta starts decent and gets worse. Watching a decent series slipping into crapdom is far worse than watching a bad series become decent.

    Well, at a previous Tamashii Nations show they showed the VF-25 and YF-19, though they were not transformable prototypes. It at least signals the possibility to go all the way up to frontier.

    It includes the clips and a helmetless Hayate pilot figure, otherwise the exact same. The Lil' Drakken set that was announced to go with it releases in January.

    Looks pretty good, which explains why the Messer super pack is the highest price.

    You could probably sell the Arcadia for a decent chunk of what a DX is worth, the used ones on Mandarake are the same priced as an unopened DX YF-19.
