  1. Amazon.co.jp shipping is amazing, DHL within days, for cheaper than SAL small packet. I can only imagine they essentially buy one of more entire container's worth of shipping from hub to hub, and only have DHL do the local distro, or something.
  2. I got a similar message, it says arrival estimated 1st-4th. Translated:
  3. Ought to be Sunday night/Monday morning in the US.
  4. The only ones I really want are Roy's VF-1S, and Hikaru's armored VF-1J. But I'll probably buy the rest anyway, just like I ended up with all of Delta squad.
  5. Pose it? I can't even get mine to hold together in battroid, without glue. Fighter tabs together, and Gerwalk's not too bad as long as the legs are supported, but there's nothing holding the battroid torso together.
  6. The more recent Bandai 1/72 kit... Is not great. Super detailed, but also an absolute mess transformation-wise.
  7. That's how they roll, super-low pre-order price on the night of, and low quantities. Then every time more are available, they jack up the price.
  8. The fighter mode (at least the SV-262 and VF-31) are decently sturdy for their size. The SV-262 battroid and gerwalk are definitely spindly and not play-fodder. I imagine the VF-31 and VF-1 are the same.
  9. Just got in the last 2 Doyusha 1/144 diecast valkyries I needed to complete my set (aside from the bronze YF-19)
  10. CDJ shipped mine out on the 28th. ought to get here sometime next week. Can't wait to take a look inside.
  11. Well, the Neo Zeong was cheaper than the Plamax 1/20 VF-1 so...
  12. I'm thinking some careful positioning with multiple magnets ought to snap the supers on at the right spot. Next question is where to put in a connection to power it, or a door to change the batteries? I'm definitely going to get some LEDs to go with this thing and try to wire it all up. Not sure if dumb or smart style.
  13. Except Hayate never got them on his blue livery VF-31, only on the blue+black livery one. It's not a movie version, it's the version he flew near the end of the series when he had missiles. In the movie he just straight-up flew Messer's valkyrie (with Lil' Drakens instead of supers or missiles).
  14. The VF-31 thing makes sense (a bit) when you consider how the missiles were in the show. Hayate's valk only ever had them after the livery change, likewise Messer never had them. The weird part was that Mirage got them in the super bundle, but the rest came with the Valk itself.
  15. Netflix has a good track record, but it's still Hollywood trying to adapt an anime to live action...
  16. All I got was no cape and a different bow.
  17. With details that big, even my ham-hands (and anal-retentive obsession over clean edges) can be happy.
  18. I smell something for all these tiny magnets I've got sitting on my workbench to do...
  19. In 1/48 that'd make a hell of a display. Honestly, I'd prefer those in HMR scale though, due to space/expense.
  20. I remember when people were talking about Bandai's pricing driving Arcadia out of business... How the tides have turned.
  21. Note that the Narrative Neo Zeong does not come with the ring, that's a separate P-Bandai item. It does come with waterslides at least.
  22. $148 is a bit costly for a knockoff.
  23. They snagged me for the Battlestar Galactica sub. For $20 I'll see how the Galactica looks at least.
  24. Or release a pack with TV hands+TV head+TV pilot.
  25. Oh, I know it's intentional, it just sounds like the sort of thing that would happen due to a production error.
