  1. I've spent thousands with them, no issues ever. Everything packaged well.
  2. How's the paint/mould quality? Still waiting on my C variant to show up on this end.
  3. I like the forward-sweep on the YF-19 and the YF-29, not so much on the VF-31 and VF-19. The stubby little forward-swept winglets added to a normal delta wing just don't look good to me.
  4. Well, finally got a VF-0D, but still no Series 1 chase. The Kaiyodo/Movic gachas at least are a reliable 2x of each one per box. Those Regults and Tomahawks are pretty nice looking. With all these little valks I can do a nice display with my SDF-1, once I put it up.
  5. Try Amazon Japan, CDJapan, AmiAmi, and Hobby Link Japan on launch day. For best results, install a webmonitor plugin (I use Distill) to lurk and refresh the sites on your behalf, and order when one of them pops up as available.
  6. Finally got in the Macross gachas I got from an auction about 2.5months ago, surface shipping be slow.
  7. Probably due to a press-fit on the pin, which means stress on the plastic at all times.
  8. I'm guessing you bought from HLJ? That's a promotion they're doing right now, a kitkat with every order, plus another for every ¥6000 you spend.
  9. You can really hear all those ratchets.
  10. I guess I'll buy a couple sets to go with my 3 pre-orders, and the additional VF-1 DXs I'll probably eventually get.
  11. Glad I bought a second set right after release. Now I don't feel bad with my first set sitting on the shelf.
  12. Well, they're certainly mashing up the plot, event order, and characters.
  13. If I'd noticed it at 13k, I'd probably have a second one. As is, I'll stick to just one, and more if they release other variants.
  14. Well, you can sign me up for two of the smoothed HP sets, if you decide to offer them.
  15. Don't suppose they'll do a reprint of the VE-11? Need more dish.
  16. How much would a HP set be, with shipping to the USA?
  17. I'd also go with the cheaper option. Plus since it's from the vendor you checked, that means the tolerances will be right for the parts. That looks great, btw.
  18. That gave me more trouble than any other package I've ever picked up.
  19. Ask them to change it to FedEx or DHL shipping, as those seem to be cheaper. Also get an updated shipping quote BEFORE you tell them to proceed.
  20. Just FYI, pay attention to the seller's shipping methods, I've got bitten on a few things that charged absurd shipping costs to get from the seller to From Japan.
  21. Most of my experience with motion control is at a professional level, so I'm not sure I'd be much help with hobby components. Might be worth using DC and a belt drive or friction clutch, then just running it into the hardstop with a time-based cutoff in the logic. Not sure how much a mini-servo could lift. Alternatively you could do a scissor-jack type deal, which would function like gearing and do a simple contact limit switch.
