  1. Give a bushing a try on the side with the styrene tube? Might reduce the friction and help prevent crabbing (which is what's probably causing the wobble). See these: https://www.mcmaster.com/bushings (filter for "plain" at the top left). You can probably find cheaper ones elsewhere, McMaster just has a good selection.
  2. Looking good, is that the stickers you got to conform, or paint?
  3. ami =Ami Ami hlj= Hobby Link Japan hs= Hobby Search cdj= CD Japan
  4. Interestingly enough, on mine the wing flaps/ailerons aren't floppy at all. They're super tight, and it actually takes some force to get them to hinge up or down. Unfortunately the airbrake hinge isn't tight. I'm going to see about tightening it up so it'll stay closed.
  5. If you have a set of wire gauge drills and a pin vise, you could progressively drill out the center hole until the missiles fit. [edit] Someone apparently doesn't like solutions. Honestly, unless you get things printed in high-quality/high-resolution processes/materials you should expect some cleanup/modification will be required. That's just how 3D printing works.
  6. The detail under the transparent parts really adds depth. Looking good.
  7. You can message him directly through shapeways, and he can take it down until it's fixed.
  8. Just got home and got to open mine. That's some serious heft, and all the tampo looks nice and crisp. Also finally got to put in payment for the AmiAmi order.
  9. Probably Amazon Japan. Mine was $173.83 shipped from them.
  10. Just took a gander at my grandfather’s book collection, he let me look at a 1706 copy of Newton’s Optica (1st Latin edition). Now my Macross collection just looks quaint...
  11. If you updated the order, it ought to be fine. Between when I made my order and it was released I had to cancel that card, and had no issues after updating the payment method.
  12. Wow, this is the first one I’ve seen since I started collecting (post vf-25 renewal) that wasn’t available for retail at release,
  13. So, looks like the pilot is the right height, it’s just much less bulky than the yamarcadia versions.
  14. Well, mine is scheduled for delivery today. Unfortunately I’m out of town until the 2nd and there’s nobody around to sign for it. So had to have them hold delivery.
  15. The second hinge is necessary to fold properly in battroid mode IIRC.
  16. Just a heads up to anyone interested: Banzai Hobby has put up their year-end gunpla lucky bags: https://banzaihobby.com/lucky-bag Two flavors, ¥12,800 and ¥30,000.
  17. Amazon was ¥19200 shipped to the USA as well, ¥18000 (no tax), plus ¥1200 for DHL shipping.
  18. Hi-speed mode at least is somewhat necessary due to the wing folding in battroid mode.
  19. Get the pour type, and it’ll do a decent job. You can clean up with a Pentax eraser, or just rubbing it with your finger if it hasn’t dried all the way. Isopropyl will remove it entirely. The pour types work via capillary action, just touch it to the panel line in one spot and it’ll work it’s way along.
  20. Mine from Amazon hasn’t hit the USA yet, but I had to update payment info so that delayed it. Looks like I’ll need to wait until after the holiday for HLJ to ship.
  21. The Luca 171 comes with hard point wings included in addition to the naked wings. I’ve got mine decked with the CF super pack.
  22. Bandai has already announced Chuck’s valk, so I’m just going to buy that.
  23. Amazon was selling direct. You could wait for one to show up at Mandarake, or see if someone will sell a spare on the for sale/trade sub forum.
  24. Fortunately for those of us in the US, no import fees.
  25. No problem for me, coming into California. Ought to be fine for you as well. It was one bigass box though.
