    I figure they might just be going pure premium release so as to not compete with themselves, like they ended up doing with the Max&Milia releases. Especially with Bandai now making VF-1 figures as well.

    So, on the Arcadia web page it says it comes with "形状補完パーツ" or "Shape Complementing Parts" (google translate). Going by the listings for the other VF-1s on their site, this seems to be how they list the neck cover and side fillers.

    Very low, but I'd buy em. I like the look of those more than Max/Milia's VF-1Js.

    Ha, difference between Amazon w/ DHL and NY with EMS? NY is ¥60 cheaper. I think I'll stick with Amazon.

    I had planned to, but my work laptop got taken for other uses, so I don't have any CAD software available at home anymore.

    Current speculation is that this PF is a normal retail release, rather than a web-store exclusive. Thus it probably will have a discount, rather than costing more than MSRP.

    Packaging on the stuff I've gotten has been good, however I've seen at least one picture of less than good packaging. They are reliable, and the shipping is both fast and cheap (via DHL).

    I'm good with just one, to go alongside my Yamato. It'll be interesting to see how fast this sells out, or if it lingers like most Arcadia offerings. Hell, you can still find new Max/Milia VF-1Js.

    Yup, I am liking Amazon being the new go-to store for pre-orders, and it's going to be really hard for anyone else to compete with the shipping cost/speed. Plus less pre-order madness due to larger quantities.

    Absolutely going through Amazon Japan for this one, shipping on the Arcadia boxes kinda sucks normally.

    Anyone ever tried ordering from Arcadia's web shop through a proxy or using a Tenso address? Thinking it might be cheaper than using HLJ, and I'd rather avoid NY unless I have a backup on order as well.

    I like the orange they're using. Definitely looks better than the tan I was afraid they'd be going with. Also nice to finally have a pod without that freaking drone charger.

    If Bandai did it themselves they could just mold the covers out of metal and stick magnets behind the intake.

    IIRC there is one additional area of articulation on the legs for the YF-19 vs the VF-19Advance, but it's not a major change. Mainly the differences are the paint and the accessories.

    Yeah, I decided to put in, plus for one of the "black bunny" F-14s since they're both listed for April.

    I've got Arbalest and Laevatein ver IV, 2 Gernsbacks, an Aile Strike, and a pre-order for the Eva. That's plenty for me.

    One thing I'd like to add: it's not just NY that got them in later. The Ebay seller I had one ordered from also got it in much later than release. Might be that Bandai just fulfilled some orders with a delay due to production issues, including NYs.
