The VF-19Kai and 19S were made in 2010 as part of the Hi-Metal line. The new line is Hi-Metal R, and started in 2016 IIRC.

Wait for a reissue, or a different DX VF-1. The S will probably be coming soon, and possibly the A as well.

Remember, PG-13 lets you be incredibly violent to cyborgs, as long as it's only mechanical bits being destroyed, due to how the rating system works.

No kidding, mine still hasn't shipped out yet either. At this point, I'm pretty much done with NY, unless they're having a sale or something. I'll get my TWE and P-Bandai stuff from proxies.

Eh, their PF Elintseeker and VF-1 Super/Strike packs are about the same cost as the Bandai YF-19 full set pack. They end up being more expensive, since Arcadia's PFs (priot to VE-1) only got sold via Arcadia's website or grey market, and had a similar markup to P-Bandai because of it.

Bandai seems to care more for making their figures a similar size, rather than a similar scale.

Same, Siskel and Roepert (the actual 2 guys doing the reviews, due to Ebert's cancer) were great at reviewing films. They had different enough tastes, and were objective about not just if they liked the movie, but if there were other types who would like/dislike it.

Ahem... I made a micro-missile pod, and @Xigfrid made both the speaker pod and a strike cannon pod from the master file.

Was there ever any question? It's a pod, same as the charger+gun pod, and mounts on the same peg. That's the way it works in the series, and in the master file, and the way that's cheaper to make.

Zero realistic possibility. Much better to make something that doesn't have competition from Bandai, and all the existing 1/60 VF-1 figures already out there. Add on top of that the costs of entirely new molds and design work, plus competing directly with Bandai that has a much lower cost to produce. Honestly? They'd be insane, and it'd probably end up bankrupting the company. The short answer is that they cannot compete financially with Bandai, any V3 VF-1 they make would be retailing up past $300 for them to see a profit, and good luck getting people to buy those.

The Bandai 1/72 kits don't need glue. I wouldn't try building the 1/72 VF-1 without it though. The following kits are available. The stickers/decals are massive. VF-1 VF-25 (incl RVF-25, Super, Tornado, and Armored) VF-27 VF-31 (also Super) SV-262 (also Lil' Dracken/missile pod pack)

NY will charge you more for shipping, and will probably be slower to ship out. NY has crap customer service NY will ship you your valk, however, and if it arrives it ought to be just fine.

Don't forget, the radome is also the only pod we've gotten other than the normal gun+charger. I know I got a second one just for the pod, and I'm probably not alone.

I think at least with the 1/48 VF-1S Roy Bandai will have large production volume. VF-31E probably had the smallest production volume of any VF-31, being the least important pilot and the last one to get released, at the tail-end of lackluster (for a DX) sales.
