  1. The 262 sold poorly due to the engineering on top of poor quality control (tampo peeling off on some units) combined with being an enemy unit. As to the YF-21, it'd be interesting to see how they re-did the proportions/transformation to make it more stable.
  2. So, I moved, and tried to change the shipping location for my VE-1 on Amazon Japan, but when I try to it says it cannot be shipped to the new location. Fortunately I can still pick it up at the old address, bit it's certainly an interesting thing. The stands have no problem being re-routed, so it's probably due to how the VE-1 is past it's cancellation date.
  3. Amazon Japan's packaging (things shipped by AJ) is pretty obviously intended for domestic mail only. Whether or not that's an issue, depends on how bad your local DHL service is. By me, they're decent, and the packages aren't generally damaged.
  4. I suspect not, unless the proportions are the same. Since the decal splits along various panel edges.
  5. It's something with the leg and/or foot molds (I think the leg, since it's always the right leg, and the feet are identical). The last few releases it's been getting progressively worse, though some steady force can get the feet back into gerwalk position properly
  6. I prefer the itasha version, but it would absolutely get destroyed transforming. Hasegawa kitplz?
  7. It's not surprising, what with how poorly the DX 262 was received. One of the few DX to sell below MSRP after release.
  8. Nah, EVERYTHING has to be shielded, space is chock-full of radiation, everywhere. Our atmosphere is the only thing that's shielding us from it, and it's not perfect. Heck, you pick up a few X-rays of dose just taking a plane flight because the altitude is higher.
  9. That's some of the dumbest setting info I've read regarding macross. Guess what space is full of? Gamma radiation. Guess what spacecraft are shielded heavily against? Gamma radiation.
  10. No, it's not. The drone charger is on the pod used by Delta platoon. The cannon pod pictured is used by the UN Spacey on Kairos units (not Siegfrid) that do not have drone launchers in the legs. The whole point of making these alternate pods is because they don't have that ****ing drone charger.
  11. The HMR has much easier tolerances to work with. The backpack swivels into fighter position easier and the chestplate snaps into fighter position more easily. The legs and arms get into position with less tweaking.
  12. I've come to appreciate the quick and intuitive transformation of the HMRs once again, as I box them up for transport. Boxed several HMRs in the time it took to get a single Arcadia VF-1 from B to F and back in it's box.
  13. 3D printed extra pylons for the DX YF-19 ordinance would probably work pretty well. Kinda sucks they didn't give enough pylons for all the stuff it came with.
  14. The plaques say something about nose assemblies when translated.
  15. HMR VF-0D in correct shade of blue?
  16. What, no MAXL?
  17. I think it also goes pew-pew, just differently.
  18. Technically Yamato made the Queadluun, though not sure if the Max/Miria pair count as "enemy" or not.
  19. Probably took a bit longer with the VE-1 about to release and the SV-51 up for pre-order. Expensive times.
  20. VF-1J up again at Mandarake: https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1111571707
  21. 1/20 YF-19 kit would be an instant buy, so long as it wasn’t horribly malformed.
  22. I'm liking the VFG-25 and the 31D. Also that black 31A, shame it's an expo exclusive though.
