    Hopefully Bandai realizes that the VF-1S has higher demand than Max's 1A, and produces a lot more of them. I'll be glad if I can get just 1 on pre-order.

    I'll probably only buy 2-4 of them. I hope they do eventually make a TV version, but since this is Super/Strike that's become less likely. Still though, that is one heck of a lot of tampo. Good luck to all securing an order for the Hikaru 1S.

    Looking good, I might have gone a bit lighter on the weathering ink (grey rather than black), but that's personal preference.

    Eh, no worries. I was mainly thinking of using the scan as a template, and the extruding actual solids to match it (but having proper symmetry and consistent curves).

    When mine shows I'll do a side-by-side (on my potato-phone) of the Yamato vs the Arcadia.

    You can always use photogrammetry to scan in the parts of an existing model to use as a starting point as well. I've heard good things about Meshroom.

    Bandai-made Tau battlesuits would be pretty awesome. Or Tyranids. Or Necrons. Or Eldar/Dark Eldar. Or...

    Macross Zero actually has CAD models, so the exteriors in fighter, battroid, and gerwalk should be very similar if not identical. Because there's a 3D model to compare everything to. I'd expect them to look close to identical, and have similar exterior panel layouts. The real question is what's on the inside. Not like the YF/VF-19, where what it looks like changes depending on the scene, so there's a lot of leeway in the design of the figure.

    Just realized, it's been a looooooooong time since any VF-17 came out, HMR would probably be a decent line for them.

    Apparently my Roy w/ fast packs is also delayed to June. Which I guess means it's a 2nd production batch, hopefully they fixed some things, but I'm not expecting too much.

    My VE-1 gives me that message when I try to switch shipping addresses, fortunately it's set to auto-pay so it ought to get charged and ship just fine. I think it might be due to how it's past the cancellation date for the item.

    It is a pretty Valk, and very unique both in transformation and appearance, much like the SV-262 (but with none of the sagging). I'm glad I've got a pair, but I'll be more glad if they re-issue a 1.5 version with the wing hinges simplified a bit (closer to the 1/72 model kit).
