    I suspect they're taking a bath on returned product shipping from the US, seeing as they ship DHL and reimburse.

    I'm actually somewhat hopeful there will be stocks available at release, looking at the HUGE numbers of scalpers on YJA, they're going to be undercutting eachother down to razor-thin margins, and I imagine all of them will just drop their pre-orders if they can't sell at a sufficient markup.     It was under 16k to start, like 15,600 or something IIRC from getting one in my cart.

    I've had NY double-charge me before. Got them to reverse the charge, however turns out they also cancelled the order (so I was only charged once, but no longer had an order in). Once I contacted them a second time, they put my order back in, still one charge, and I got my stuff. So contact them, but keep track of what they do.

    Got one from Amazon, but it'll end up around ¥25,000 after international shipping and paying Tenso.

    I really don't want to think of what the Roy release will be like. Hopefully by the time we get there, people will have cooled somewhat on the 1/48 DXs... Well, I can hope at least.

    Looks like I'm out of luck at NY. The one from Amazon will end up costing around 25kyen, so not sure if there's much advantage vs just paying a scalper.

    I had one in my cart at Okini Land, Hobby Search, and CDJapan. Only managed to actually get one from Amazon. Yeesh.

    Wow, that's actually pretty huge, since it means that international distribution is back on the table, even if not to the US yet.

    If you want a playable one, Id suggest the 1/48 DX VF-1, it’s the most sturdy, easily transformed, and easiest to pose of any of my Macross figures. The YF-19 has a more complicated transformation.

    Hey, I went for the VF-1J trying to get 1, and ended up with 3. Same for the 31A. Now I'm off to take a short nap so I can stay up a bit for pre-orders.

    They're pretty close, I managed to fit my VF-171 giant reaction missiles on my 1/48 DX. They got knocked off easily though.
