  1. Fully transformable 1/600 SV-51 would be impressive in it's own way.
  2. I've got nothing against stockier proportions, I just prefer them on more "realistic" designs. Like the Rk-92 Savage in full metal panic. Also, gotta say, the armor placement is a bit weird, with how it doesn't guard the thighs or feet, despite the giant armor panels on the lower leg.
  3. Well, that sucks. At least they didn't cancel the order?
  4. It's cheaper to buy direct from Kitz Concept. Also, I'll take what I can get when it comes to "Old Lady" action figures.
  5. I think he means the wings, which fold up into a "backpack" looking shape.
  6. Not a new version, but there was a teaser of a YF-29 Alto w/ supers at the Kawamori expo. [edit for clarity] They showed an Alto YF-29 w/ supers labeled something along the lines of YF-29 w/ super box set.
  7. Plus it needs very little backstory, just remove the Zentradi backstory from the movie entirely and just say Guld has anger management issues.
  8. I managed to have mine standing up in gerwalk for a few weeks. As soon as I touched it, it decided to fall forward into the cockpit though.
  9. I like both, personally. Arcadia is more anime-accurate in appearance, Bandai is more detailed. Plus it has ankles that aren't too weak for gerwalk.
  10. Well, now I need to order that Sheryl figure to go with my EX gear Alto. At least she's on sale at HLJ.
  11. Still puts it about even with ordering from HLJ, so not bad at all. Probably a good thing I can't remember my BBTS password, so I'm not tempted. New windows are a better investment.
  12. That's... actually not bad, considering it's $4 shipping. Cheaper than buying it from HLJ/CDJ. edit: $934 shipped.
  13. I suspect it's a change made so that the figure can actually pose. If they had a hard-plastic pencil skirt, then essentially the only leg articulation would be at the knee and feet, plus waist bend. Either way, it looks pretty good, and I ordered one since Misa>>Minmei, and it's much harder to find figures of Misa.
  14. This is where I'm at as well. I prefer to have as many of it's accessories with the toy/figure as possible, so I can skip having to dig out the box.
  15. I'm hoping to get a 2nd myself, just as an in-case if the first one is damaged/defective. Of course, would sell it to a forum member at cost if they're both good.
  16. So, got some good news for y'all. Looks like the Yahoo Japan auctions for the Max 1A have come down to around ¥22,000. Which looks to me like a lot of the scalpers are down to pretty much zero profit margin. Which, to me, implies a good chance there will be a bunch available at release as the scalpers jettison their pre-orders.
  17. That one's a tough call then, I'd try asking on the 3D printing subreddit for a good high-resolution FDM out-of-the-box printer. You'll still need to tweak the settings, of course, and no matter what FDM will never get great resolution. (I design microscopes, so I tend to think in microns )
  18. For 2k get a resin printer, one of the ones with an actual laser rather than a UV-LED screen. Layer heights down at 0.015mm.
  19. Given it's a removable capsule, might be possible to design a full on capsule replacement.
  20. Well, there it is, the last 1/60 radome bird I need (apart from Chuck, which is on pre-order).
  21. This is what happened to me. Turned out they'd refunded the order, since it didn't ship as scheduled. I strongly suggest contacting them to "make sure" that they didn't cancel the order, and only refunded the double-charge.
  22. Is this different than the existing DX YF-19?
  23. Only via a proxy (FromJapan, Zenmarket, Etc...)
