    I have to agree, it was definitely designed visually as a battroid-first armament. Hell, the strike cannons don't even face forwards outside of battroid mode. It does look better if you don't stick the strike cannons on, and the strike cannons by themselves look fine when stuck on an un-armored fighter for what it's worth. Also, never been a fan of the VF-31's wing boosters, the way they just attach to the tops of the wings rather than wrapping top+bottom like the Frontier ones, or above the fuselage like the VF-1/VF-11 ones.

    I need to set up a policy, less for my collection (which is covered under my homeowner's insurance) and more for my small number of firearms which are not. It's weird, I can have $60k of coverage which will cover all my macross figures, but a single rifle goes above the maximum my policy will cover for guns.

    I have 2 Yamato YF-21, and a VF-11B and C both. I'd still get an Arcadia re-pop of either.

    Huh, I never noticed that about Sahra, then again I'm not sure if I've ever ordered just one item from them.

    They don't do points. After a certain amount of spending you can get a discount code issued to you. Some percentage that NY decided to give you. Mine so far were 3% and 1%.

    I think there's quite a few people hoping for a VT-1, given that the only Yamato release had shoulder issues. Personally I'm hoping they do a YF-21, though I think it's more likely that we'll get one from Bandai at this point.

    Those are wedges that go in between the kneepads and the leg armor when using the landing gear. I had the same question and looked through the instructions until I found them.

    Eh, I put in an order for a second via NY with Ferry. I'll get one safely from my proxy, and another one sometime around March or April. If either is defective, then I'll have a spare and can just leave it in a mode that doesn't show.

    The wing boosters ought to snap in fairly securely if you push everything back together right. I initially also had an issue with not having them seated correctly.

    This, btw, is possibly the reason there was a price-spike on the HMR CF VF-1A. At least the timing works out.

    They don't like to stay open in my experience. You can fight to have them remain just open enough to not obstruct the barrel, or just give up and close them

    Mandarake does not quote shipping prices before you order the item, and the Monster is large enough/heavy enough it must be shipped EMS/FedEx/DHL. If you get sticker shock at the shipping cost and decide not to pay, be prepared to be banned from the store as Mandarake does not take kindly to order cancellations.

    Given the PF SDF-1 and PF VF-0D, I'm wondering if Arcadia will be moving more towards really "premium" premium finishes. Tampo, panel lining, top-coat, weathering, etc... A weathered SV-51 Ivanof could look pretty cool, but I think the Nora would be better clean.

    Combo of the 1/72 Hasegawa 31A, 31E, super parts, and a fin off one of the RVFs?

    Yeah, you pretty much need an STL to print from, since G-code needs to be tweaked based on the printer anyway. A single-use print file would need special physical media and a special printer. Not to mention someone would just figure out a way to rip the file anyway.

    Might be that the order page is actually up now, so the order amount has been changed to reflect the deposit rather than the full price.

    You can grab them cheaper (through a proxy) from Yahoo Japan Auctions. Ebay is almost never a good place to buy anything Macross. (I have bought 3 things, including 1 pre-order, but the buy-it-now prices are terrible). Just checked the YJA prices, seems to sell for ~¥45,000-¥50,000 for a new one; dropping down to ¥35,000 for a used/opened one.
