    The issue with bringing back the Tomcat is that the manufacturing lines were all stopped years ago, the tooling needs to be remade, workers need to be retrained because everyone who knew how to put together a Tomcat is retired. Subcontractors need to be hired to create new submanufacturing lines for all the components that the OEM can't make. The Hornet lines have been kept warmed up throughout the years, which is why it makes more sense for them to create updated Super Hornets than it is to create an updated Tomcat.

    Adding on to the points Tking22 made, its also one of a very small handful of competently made videogames set in the Wild West. For some reason that setting is seriously underrepresented in the videogame world, which sucks because I really love westerns.

    What impressed me was the fact that the player switched targets mid-kulbit. I can definitely see some skilled plays utilizing the post stall gameplay mechanic once AC7 releases.

    It seems like they're setting up some kind of character arc for the girls, but I don't think it'll ever stop being wacky. It is a comedy show about zombie idols, after all. It does have the one of the best OP sequences of this season though.

    Just watched the first episode of Zombieland Saga, so far seems like a pretty fun take on the old "young girl tries to become an idol" story.

    Might be worth it for the artbook, considering it has a bunch of short stories by Sunao Katabuchi, as well as all the concept art. Although if they release the artbook independently from the mega deluxe edition, I'd probably just go for that.

Man, that wind mechanic looks pretty crazy. 4 had 21 and 0 actually had like 37 aircraft, which places 7 (at 32) right in the middle. 5 did have a crazy large roster, although I think Infinity had the largest in the series.

    I wouldn't doubt they'd start pushing Macross over in the West if they could. Kawamori has always said he was frustrated with the legal quagmire the franchise faced over here.

    Yeah, AC6 was full of DLC. Assault Horizon had a ton of DLC. And given how horrible the Ace Combat Infinity fuel system was (you could only play 3 times ever 24 hours unless you specifically stocked up on fuel by paying for it or winning some in each post-game RNG dice roll), I'm not surprised that AC7 is full of the same nickle and diming. At least the game (minus DLC and preorder bonus aircraft) still has a larger roster of planes than 6 though.

    Big news about the preorder and deluxe versions of the game. People who preorder the PS4 version get AC5 bundled with theirs, Xbox 1 owners will get AC6, and all platforms will get the F-4E plus some famous skins from past games.
