  1. Roy died in 2009, Aegis was born in 2024. If Roy had a bastard child born before 2009, and that child had a kid, then MAYBE they could be related... The LaSalle family makes more sense as Edgar could easily be Claudia's brother... still, nothing was confirmed. We'll see if there's a link in the Nome family
  2. link: http://www.amazon.co.jp/o/ASIN/4047150665/...YM5DVFTMHFYD902
  3. There's an example of "same last name - no relation", with Aegis and Roy... so it's difficult to know at this point if Sheryl and Sara / Mao are related.
  4. FYI, the first manga is available for pre-order @ Amazon Japan Relaese date: April 24th.
  5. I also made this while we wait for the update in the official site
  6. Finally found this month's HJ, so I re-scanned the images using an option in my scanning software named "reduce moire (magazines)"...
  7. oops ssfsx17: it's an MP3 file. It doesn't sound as elaborate to be the karaoke version of the upcoming single, but it's definitely not a MIDI file.
  8. Yamato's website update: http://www.yamato-toys.com/dev/release_003/index.html
  9. SO... After looking and looking online for the Macross F video that comes in April's issue of Newtype (a disappointment, by the way... the song isn't even complete) I bumped into a video that includes what appears to be the infamous ringtone. So I ripped the audio, adjusted volume and some other things and... here it is, for all of you to enjoy: Sagittarius 9pm ☆ Don’t be Late full karaoke version Mod EDIT: Please do not post any links to episodes or full soundtracks anywhere in the forum.
  10. wow, thanks for the translation!!!
  11. I didn't know that the VF-0 had a name: VF-1 バルキリー = Valkyrie VF-4 ライトニング = Lightning VF-11 サンダーボルト = Thunderbolt VF-17 ナイトメア = Nightmare VF-19 エクスカリバー = Excalibur VF-0 フェニックス = Phoenix Might be useful for your website Mr March PS: this was taken from the Macross F information page so I think it's official.
  12. The website of Newtype Japan hasn't updated the front page to feature the April issue and we're already seeing the scans of the pages... I love the internet! Thanks UN Spacy I hope someone can let us know what's included in the DVD
  13. Apparently there's a Macross "online event" (whatever that means) taking place on July 27th... Here's the link: http://www.youyou.co.jp/only/macross/index.html Nice mix of images in the front page edit: sp
  14. GREAT thanks!!!
  15. I agree with 1/1LVL. I think we need to wait until the VF-25 (or at least the prototype) is released before jumping to any conclusions. Basing the possible quality of a product on what a person wears to work is ridiculous IMO. We do need to be grateful that Yamato was there when there were no other releases, also for possibly setting the 1/60 scale standard for the Macross F toys and last but not least, because apparently we'll have a decent VF-25 just months after the series is released and not 25 years later. The only "dangerous" situation for Yamato could be if the Macross F toys sell well (esp. the 1/60 ones)... then Bandai will want to release a broader spectrum of Macross toys. Then again, that means that the competition will be based in a quality / cost-benefit level, and I don't think that's bad for us as customers. Regarding all the different scales, that's nothing new... Takatoku did the same thing with Macross, so what's the surprise?
  16. Thx!! take your time
  17. The blog in the Official Site for Macross (http://www.macrossf.com/blog/) has the pics from the valkyrie display in WonderFest ... nice pics, haven't seen them in a higher resolution anywhere else though And... I think the background from the image in the main page has been updated as well
  18. I don't think it'll be bad news for Yamato since they won't be producing the same toys. On the contrary, it'll be good for both yamto and Bandai because the series will complement each other. I, for one, have been waiting for this for a LONG time (after all the changes from 1:55 to 1:65, 1:72, 1:60 and 1:48) Now let's hope we can see the images of the 1:100 series soon! Fortunately these will be way better than the Macross 7 'Micro Macross" line
  19. I'm EXTREMELY happy that they're keeping with the same scale as the Yamato ones... don't know whose idea was that but I bet it was the best decision for both Yamato and Bandai. And regarding the release dates, Bandai isn't usually late with the toys, here's an example: Macross 7 TV: October 1994 1/65 VF-19k: February 1995 (4 months) 1/65 VF-17D/S: June 1995 (8 months) Aquarion TV: April 2005 Aquarion DX Chogokin: September 2005 (5 months) BUT... the prototype in the pic looks at a very early stage. Hopefully that was just something for display and we can expect the first VF-25 around Sept / Oct ... And yes, I also hope they release the VF-171
  20. thx for the heads up! so, the second fighter that's NOT in the Bandai stand IS the DX prototype!
