Variable Fighter Master File VF-1 Valkyrie Vol. 1

According to Amazon Japan, the release date has been shifted to May -
In the "checklist" on the box, the Super and Armored packs are mentioned. If they ever release them, I think we'll get new molds of the VF-25... maybe these parts won't be removeable. Unlike the DX, I can't see any connecting points in the VF-25F for the Super pack...

ah, of course ... ^^;

Thanks for the link!! I wonder.. what does the "G" behind the Macross Frontier logo stand for?

Mattel is doing the same with Mattycollector.com, so I agree with Graham... maybe this is the future for products for niche franchises. The only (big) difference is that Mattel ships worldwide. Or maybe the tamashii shop also ships worldwide and my only barrier is the language? edit: sp -
In the April issue of NewType there's something called "Macross F Intermission", possibly news about the movie. Has anybody been able to get this mag? edit: sp

I would add: 4) Make the gunpods collapse and include just one (and in a decent plastic tray that doesn't bend them) 5) Try to avoid replacing parts that can be designed to work in any mode (ie. tailfins) 6) Include a box for the remaining parts or at least sell a Macross-themed case for them (like the Haro Multi-box - http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN956193 -)

Nice! One question though: If Ranka is 25 mm tall... doesn't that make her taller / bigger than the actual pilots? -
The VF100's VF-25 looks very good on the SMS base! http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-88669-1-1.html Hmm... there's no "Flashback" section, so if the VF-4 is ever released I guess it'll go under DYRL

The base connector that comes with the VF-25 for Gerwalk mode attaches to the back of the legs, thus avoiding the spread leg Gerwalk pose I found the stand that Bandai is promoting for the VF100's and man, is it lame. Good thing is that the Bandai pramo stand also works for fighter: ... using this piece: The only problem is that the legs drop down way more than the model kit
-
I'll try the stand attachment for battroid mode tomorrow. And I'll also check if there's a way to use this stand for fighter mode...
-
It was actually me (the shield note) Regarding the attachments for the stand, I tried using the simplest Bandai stand and... it works for Gerwalk: It's the same stand that can be used for the CM's Mospeada Ride Armors.

I wouldn't be surprised if we eventually get a totally retooled version, especially if the designs for the movie turn out to be different. After all, they've been doing that in other lines. -
Oops, didn't read that

Hmm... not really. Remember the v.1 1/60 VF-1's and the FAST Packs? As Graham mentioned, it indeed looks as if Bandai is now in the stage that Yamato was 7 years ago. -
I just realised I never posted my info here Hi I am originally from Mexico City now living in Singapore. Saludos added myself to your map EXO

Is it me, or have the news about upcoming Yamato VF's slowed down after they closed the link of photos that IXTL found?

If you like to transform your toys to relieve stress, there's no better option than this version of the VF-25. No need to worry about holding the shoulder so that the joint / screw breaks or anything like that. Just separate this thing into all the parts and re-assemble. By the time you're done, you'll forget what you were stressed about BTW, some of these come with paint wear in the edges of the crotch part (I checked several yesterday in the store where I got it from). While trying to retouch mine, I realised that the black detailing is not actually black, it's more like a very dark gray. For Tamiya's paints, I think it's very close to one called "NATO black".

Bandai/Tamashi Nations 1/100 lineup. 2009 takeoff!
GGemini replied to UN Spacy's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Funny thing is that it includes support for the stand that was linked before, but only for Battroid and Gerwalk modes, not for Fighter And a word of advice... the shield's plastic is EXTREMELY thin. Last night when trying to attach it to the arm, I heard a cracking sound. Nothing broke but it ended up a bit bent. To avoid that, I recommend puting something in the shield's gap while attaching it to the arm (the knife works) to avoid cracking the peg. This pic shows how many parts are left after changing it to fighter. I insist, at least the gunpod, the nosecone and the shoulders should not need to be swapped. I was reading (using google translate) the reviews in Amazon Japan and, basically, people don't like it. Many are also cancelling their pre-orders for the rest. Some even recommended the kit. Yes, the kit needs paint and it takes longer to assemble but it's just one time (and you're left with less parts) -
GRACIAS!!!!

Bandai/Tamashi Nations 1/100 lineup. 2009 takeoff!

I got mine yesterday and... I was hoping for something better. I still think that there are many things that could have been transformable, instead of having SO MANY replaceable parts. Having two gunpods is completely unnecesary IMO... and speaking of gunpods, both of mine were bent because of the shape of the plastic tray It feels like a watered-down GNU, with the fragile plastic of the HCM Pro line... After handling mine for just ONE day, there are some parts that show paint wear. Or maybe they were like that for starters (the paint job for the face in my VF-25F is not the best either). *sigh* I hope this is not the only way to get the VF-171.. hopefully it'll be made for the DX line. -
It will be shown @ Hobby Complex (and transformed possibly ): http://www.yamato-toys.com/event/200903/in...nk=index_pickup anyone care to translate?
