Wow, I thought we'd see the Monster in the VF100's line, not in this one Looks like the VF's in this series will have a metallic shine.

I hope this one comes with an improved crotch lock -
I think the "irregular issues" term refers to the publication schedule of the magazine. Regarding the quantity, I believe if you put 2 you get 2 and 3... and if they're out of vol. 002 you'll get 03 and 04. But I think it's easier if you e-mail them directly... their response time is not bad I only ordered "1" and I got volume 002 from them.

If this has something to do with what kresphy just posted in the Macross F News section (VF-25のスーパーパックはリニューアルして新しくなる ), I think this will be the first "movie version" VF-25 -
I just got my copy of Mac Ace 002 today and the VF-1D's head does look different... I'll take a pic later today.

From ANN: The theatrical film adaptation of the Macross Frontier television anime series will open in Japan on November 21 under the name Gekijō-ban Macross Frontier ~Itsuwari no Utahime~ (Macross Frontier the Movie: The False Songstress). The Kadokawa Cineplex and Shochiku Multiplex theaters' websites both revealed the title and date, and the second issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Macross Ace magazine will announce the details on Friday. The teaser trailer for the film will premiere in Japanese theaters on June 27, which is the same day that ticket pre-sales will begin. The planned Fall opening date for a theatrical film remake of the Macross Frontier anime series was first revealed via an itasha (vehicle decorated with character art) mini-van outside the "Macross: The Super Dimension Space Launching Ceremony" event in February. However, creator Shoji Kawamori and the cast members Yuuichi Nakamura (Alto), Aya Endo (Sheryl), and Megumi Nakajima (Ranka) noted in the actual event that the new date and even the title of the project was subject to change at the time. The film will include new footage of Sheryl's concert and Nakajima's new song, "Sō Da Yo." The Macross Frontier television series marked the 25th anniversary of Studio Nue's classic science-fiction franchise that combines transforming robotic mecha , love triangles, and interplanetary war.

I'm concerned that ALL the recent pics show it on the stand. I really want to see if it can stand on its own and especially if the crotch lock can hold the weight of the armor, since I'm not planning on using the stand for every single pose -

The pre-order page for the clear VF-25F is up: http://p-bandai.jp/tamashiiwebshouten/item-1000002740/ Using google translate, I found this relevant: ※ VF-25F MESAIABARUKIRI" as a base and a movable gimmick gimmick or deformation. However, because they are all painted exterior surfaces, when treatment is required Please note that off and painted. Apparently it is not only clear but has a "special coating". Looks like it's following the steps of the metallic variations of the Mac 7 ones... "transform at your own risk" -
The leaked pic: The ones from Yamato's website: ... so which is the one that is going to be released?
-
Proof that they are not photoshopped
-
Apparently they are going with the lighter shade for the 1J:
-
But... look @ the pic from the Shizouka Hobby Show:

I've seen the stands in stores... thy're actually "generic" stand for action figures that also work with the VF100's. BUt you might as well try the Bandai stands for model kits, the small ones... or even the SMS stand. They suit these things perfectly.
