Robotech aired here in South Africa and the Matchbox toys were in stores. I'd say Robotech aired pretty much everywhere in the 80's. Correct.

Doesnt make any sense to me. The show's producers decide after the release of 4 episodes that their work is so bad they cant fix it and the only option is to repurpose episodes from another show? I think rather that the interweaving of the shows is the usual cross-over tactic planned to get you watching both. What's really bizarre is that it wasnt just the clones who aged decades. Look at Kenobi, thats not a 20 year age difference between ROTS and ANH. And the galaxy itself. Back in the seventies no-one dreamt the Star Wars galaxy had only been under the Empire for a mere 20 years. It had that lived in look. It was astonishing to learn that the mighty Empire was a mere sneeze in galactic history.

Canon shmanon I always say.π Whenever I watch the ST The Undiscovered Country I can just picture myself on trial with Spock and Mc Coy. And Klingon Christopher Plumber shouting "...who disregarded canon whenever it suited him!!"π€

I'm always amazed that there people who dont utterly disregard the sequels. Its like finding someone who doesnt disregard aliens 3 and aliens resurrection.

Quite likely. Although I cant get over how good those Rodians looked. Even the Mandalorian has not been getting some of the aliens right. For example the Quarren did not really look like Quarren, they looked rather similar to Luxans. The eyes were completely wrong. They also spoke and behaved in too humanlike a fashion.

Rick " Belay that order! You can't fire missiles in Battroid mode, Max are you crazy?!" I'll ask them. Ok they havent decided whether they are going to release a larger figure, or whether its going to be both armour types yet. It is confirned that the pilot is scaled to fit inside the pod.- 2451 replies

Watched ep 4 and 5 of the book of Boba Fett last night. Ep 5 is the best so far - everyone kept their helmets on, TIE Bombers nuking Mandalore, some good looking CG Rodians and more of the Heavy Mandalorian. This is the way.

Well exactly. Anyone remember how small Plastic Cretins had to make the HMR Glaug pilot for him to actually fit? So how large could they make the figure and have you be still be able to take it in and out of the cockpit (assuming it is meant for that) without having to disassemble the Regult?- 2451 replies

Well it is a major step. And promiscuous hand holding is one of the ways diseases spread. -
Not that it was ever truly unique in the first place, the Flood initially being a slightly altered version of the Vang Oormlikoowl from Starhammer. Which was itself modeled on the 80's version of The Thing From Another World. Agreed. At least the Sangheili look ok so far. I hope they also do justice to the Flood and the Forerunners, if the series ever goes there. I have read and listened to quite a few and I don't recall that happening. The only incident I recall was the Spartan Ops cutscenes where she "collaborated" with Jul' Mdama after she lost her arm. A temporary alliance of convenience.

On the positive side maybe the figure REALLY is in scale .I.e. actually fits in the cockpit. Fingers crossed. π¬π€- 2451 replies

Same. But damn, 7.5 cm is much smaller than I wanted these Zentraedi soldiers to be, unless their still going to do other figs separately . No mention of the Soldier coming with a rifle? I may get 2 just for the pilot. That would kill the deal for me. It better be. "One unit of Gluu-Ger is included (Stands 7.5cm high, fully poseable articulation)"- 2451 replies
