    The lag was expected. And nvidia's own charts showed it's a slight bump from the 40 series. I didn't want to steer anyone away from buying a new PC with a 50 series card since they may want to upgrade an old pc but it's pretty much the same as a 4080 super at the same price. With the inflated prices for the 50 series incoming it's not worth it. the 4080 itself was not a good buy... the 4080 super was pretty much a repackaged 4080 at a lower price point nvidia admitting they were too greedy and PC consumers are not as stupid as nvidia thought. the 5080 being the same power and price point of the 4080 super isn't going to move the needle. Everyone who drank nvidia marketing coolaid of the 5070 equals the 4090's performance B.S. believed the 5080 will surely surpass or match a 4090 and now coming back down to reality. at launch, the 5080 will be in shortage increasing scalpers and AIB's to raise prices on a not so great card. The only card that was worth it last gen was the 4090 as it was significantly stronger than the 3090 and it's reflected in the current market. the 5090 is worth it to resell if you can get your hands on it at it's close to the 4090's current 2k market price with AI being in demand. But as a gamer the 5090 is really not worth it.

    I'm personally excited to get this. I already know it's going to have a lot of pop with HDR and with the AI coloring enhancements. I already resigned myself to a picture with no grain and loss of detail due to the directors preference of the amount of DNR. definitely going to be exciting for the first few months as the Stars Wars had when they first came out in HD.

Pretty good artstyle adaptation to ue5. Improved upgrading system Quetzalcotl boss is back They ported over the good bosses from sigma 2, sadly not statue bosses Girl stages are ported over, good imo Mentor difficulty is unlocked from the start No icindiary shuriken spam, but that might be a con. Could have found a good balance. Cons: Same amount of enemies as sigma but easier to kill. This instead of ninja gaiden 2 enemy count. Removal of budha and liberty statue boss No giant skull worm boss in chapter 9 Cant run on water against water dragon in chapter 6, stuck with lame sit on pillar and shot arrows boss no windmill shuriken, kept sigma 2 archery system Same costumes as in sigma 2 No new weapon or addition.

    The great thing is there has been a bit more talk about Macross in some of the forums i'm in that never talked about it since it's been released in NA on Hulu. I'm glad Macross is accessible to more people and there's more interest. For those wondering about the delayed subs in certain episodes through Hulu, *not all series has an issue. It seems to be a problem on Hulu on another anime I checked, so it isn't exclusive to Macross. A few episodes of Gundam Wing (TV Series) on Hulu has out of sync subs. while some of the episodes have no issues. (double checked streaming off my laptop and TV so it's not hardware related). I'll live with it.

    the 5090 card is the only one worth it... to scalp to the AI crowd. make some good money jk, with the looming threat of tariffs, i'll be surprised if the 5080 and 90 cards doesn't go 50-100% above the FE's. i'm going to have to hold out a bit to build desktop with a nvidia 5080 or 90 card

    thanks for the lowdown. i tried using my OLED C1 as a monitor but the text isn't as clear so i just use it to play games and movies. how many nits is your IPS monitor and what do you think is the bare minimum for a bright lit room or outdoor usage? My IPS screen is about 500 nits at max, i'm comfortable with it but wondering if i should go brighter.

    i'm rocking a LG C1 OLED for my main TV and for ps5 which i don't play much as i'd like. love it. i worried about burn-in for pc monitor use and decided to go IPS. I guess your braver than me. i leave up alot of static images for about 6-8 hours, my for uses: I disable sleep, screen saver, dimmer. Do you have any fears of static images on the Samsung or don't think about it?

    @mikeszekely some more window shopping while waiting for the march release of the 5070ti Zephyrus G14 there's a 14" edit: i don't see the 14" anymore just 16" with a 4080 for 1389 in there that may be of interest.     no problem! you've helped me in the past. (I still have your psp go and use it often.) yeah agree with you. it's at least there's decent bump for the 5090. since the 4090's been sold out it's been selling for about 2k. Those wanting to grab a 4090 at current market price may see the value of getting a 5090 for about the same price depending if they can get their hands on one.
