I ordered a duplicate once for a limit 1 only item from HLJ and they banned my account for it. I had to email them to reinstate it. Got confirmation email from Ami...still waiting on HLJ.

I think they cleaned off the silver and left the texture. It says that it is Tamiya clear blue and smoke but doesn't say whether it was layered on or a mixture of both.

That's nice work @Lolicon I especially like the panel shading...that's really subtle. Can I ask what you used to do it and the lines? -
Thanks, good to know. Turns out it was already out of stock so will have to look for other options for Ray. Looking forward to more impressions and reviews for Stick =)

Thanks guys, I'll give them a try. They are actually very close to where I work so I need to pay them a visit! I was planning on trying to see if I could nab a Ray quickly when it's available but I don't think that I want to risk it given how quickly Stick sold out.
