you ain't the only one pal! my friends and i took a bunch of...stuff, and played for like 70+ hours straight! we'd all go home at some point, then race back to my friends house to feed our addictions....yeah, both of them. Well I was just a kid so no crazy...stuff...for me then but I could not stop flying around and taking pictures of polygonal buildings. I remember I would take the propeller hanglider thing and just drive around the towns. Dang, I need to track that game down... my favorite was the parachuting, that and trying to land the damn plane! man that crap was hard as hell....the whole game was mad hard come to think of it. it was a miracle whenever someone completed something, everyone would scream and there'd be a bunch of high fives all around. i gotta track that one down too, my friends would be so psyched if i got it. I enjoyed that one too. I got Perfect on everything.

Depends on the method. You're right, it has something to do with color desplay, so it's up to the abilities of the mod chip. SwapMagic is supposed to work, but I haven't been successful with it. You should try looking up the info on your specific mod method, it shouldn't be hard to find.

I for one don't like the design; it's even more of an aerodynamic brick than the alpha. The whole purpose for transforming into a fighter mode could only be for improving flight characterists when not in "hand-to-hand", which this design would obviously suck at. Their regular form seemed to move well enough to get them where they needed to go. And I don't see any real differences between the "Battroid" and "Guardian" modes, so why throw in the latter? The Battroid form looks all right though. And people, I've said it once, I'll say it again: nothing really good comes out of Chapel Hill.

Actually I live 3 hr away from there, but event then I think I'd need a U-Haul to get all that mess (including 12 grand apparently) But what's this thing against console loyalty? I understand to some extent what you're saying, but it does account for something I believe. I've had about 6 Nintendo systems(not including every manifestation of Gameboy), and man have those things been durable(except the infamous NES starting rituals ). Everything from high-altitude falls to anti-brother-warheads to standing water hasn't phased my Nintendoes. I think the only cou-de-ta has been setting a GB game on top of a toaster oven and melting it alitlle. That's why I think the DS will be able to take some punishment. But I guess you're talking about the games more. I've never really had to worry about picking up a Nintendo game and not having fun with it. Most people are casual gamers if anything, right? Seeing as I have no real time for games now, GC has done me quite well with what it's offering, but of course I had to get the PS2 for Macross if nothing else. btw, Panzer, YOU WEN AT TEH INTERW3B!!! While I do think that the free-roaming, take the game at your own pace and do what you want along the way gameplay was a big leap forward, am I the only one who isn't really impressed with GTA? No, I never was - when you're main selling point is senseless violence, it's sad when it gets respect for principally that.

You know what game the DS really needs? An SDF Macross game where you can use the touch pads to move the Pin-Point Barriers around the Macross!

This comming from the "Kermit" avatar of yours, mister "High-And-Mighty"? I watch Eva, and the flow was too poorly organized for me to get emotionally attached too. Now Macross had me going (hence the reason that I bug you all here ). Terranimga was different. You had to not keep track of the story to avoid gettting a headache, but all the things that happened up to the end nearly put me in tears - I said nearly, I'm a guy, after all.

Oh gosh. The funniest time in my NROTC 3/C summer cruise was when I was on this crappy frigate watching the original movie in the mess hall. When He-Man busted out the sword and yelled "I HAVE THE POWER!!!" all of us we ROFLOAO for about 5 min. Gosh Hollywood needs some better ideas - at least they're making a Fatal Frame movie.
