Drew I'm sorry. I got what you were saying before you replied, and it wasn't meant to be a personal attack. Your post was just at the end of that trail. But when newer people come here wanting to find out information on RT and SC, it seems that criticism comes out in excess, and it's annoying. Not the biggest deal, but we should try to stop it. Maybe my way of expressing my opinion of it was in poor tact (it has been a long month). If so please forgive me, I'll be willing to edit my original post.

No one asked your opinion Peter, what's your opinion? Yeah, definitely not the prettiest mech, and fairly low on my list of faves. You can tell that the intentions of the design was to make a big, hefty, rugged looking mech, but then some of the "artistic features" which are thrown in just screw the whole thing up. Damn, not 24 hrs. after the thread opened and we got to be badmouthing SC. Good job guys. In honor of this repetition, I'll pull out our old favorite: What RT/SC bashing has become

sounds killer.. is the game based on an anime series..? and a...................variable mech in this game??? It's based on Z Gundam. It's a lot better than Federation vs. Zeon. The sub weapons like head vulcans are actually useful, the missions are more interesting, plus the music is better and there are a lot more (and IMHO, cooler) mobile suits. Missions flow better, and you earn points you can use to repair mecha. That way, instead of playing as a GM 99% of the time and using Gundam in maybe 3 missions like in the first one, you can use the "hero suits" from time to time, and near the end of the game, just keep repairing and reusing them. Fans of FvZ should definately check out AEUG vs. Titans (as long as they have a way to play imports). Speaking of imports, there's a mecha title coming out in January... I can't remember the name, but I think it's being developed by From Software, and it has a variety of mecha from a variety of different shows, including several mobile suits from various Gundam series. If anyone remembers what it's called, please let me know, because the game looked great and I definately want to import it. Yeah, I remember it, the ACE game.

Well, I believe it would be before, if anything, seeing as there are actuall "plains" as opposed to islands. For the most part, I see your time-line thing as correct, although I'm sure the Capcom games could slide into the current timeline. I don't know, I mean, the guy's already re-written the story twice, what's to say this isn't going to be the third? There is a GBA game comming out really soon; it looks like the most likely Windwaker sequel. All I want is a new musical score. They've been using the same primary ones for 3 games!

Good, I was hoping I could vent my newfound Disney-hatred today! At my college they had a preview for their new movie with Nicholas Cage, "National Treasure." It took me like 30 min to get in...because they checked all our bags and put us thru metal detetors!!! We're college students, you expect us NOT to bring them? Apparently they didn't want anyone recording the thing a week before the opening. And when we get in their own hired security-guards gave us their speal about "Piracy takes 100 billion a year..." crap and said they would be looking in with night-vision goggles and if any peice of tech was seen, we'd be kicked out, no questions asked(yes they actually were checking). The studio that did "Red Dragon" gave us a free screening without that crap. It makes me think I'll skip out if Disney does another free screening, even though I was pelted with free candy(Nestle Treasuers - haha, Disney made a funny! ) But the movie was really good, fun for the whole family. Just remember, STEAL IT!!! PS In one of the trialers it said they're making a "Hithchiker's Guide to the Galaxy" movie, just in case you wanted your childhood raped anymore. Sorry for the thread-haking, but it had to be said.
