1. David you're cutting yourself short if you aren't going HD, taking everything you said you want into consideration. They're cheap now (CRT, even some of the others are low), I got a 30" Philips refurbished for 370. You can get new TVs much like it at Walmart for 560 with tuners, so you can get antenna HDTV. The picture quality is a great step up - so long as you take the 5 min. it takes to set the picture right on your TV. So many people don't even bother to do that. And you can use them for other things than gaming - sports TV is a big one for many people (just be sure the TV has 720p, the standard for HD sports), and I use mine to stream DVD movies and fansub anime from my computer. It is definitely the best purchase I made this year.
2. No, it's clearly a throw-off. I think this was one of the ideas going around for what "the Island" experience really was(that or Purgatory).
3. It's nice to see one of these with some older anime with all the crap. It isn't as stupid as these kids who haven't seen anime older than a decade that usually make AMV
4. Well, maybe she didn't work there like she said. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Now we finally know the series-old question, now lets see if his weight changes now.
5. We'll see. I just doubt most people will have HDTV until the end of this new console generation. Sure, the people that do have HDTV will want to take advantage of it, but for the price and unique gameplay aspects it might still be worth it to some of them to get a Revolution. Marketing-wise, I do think it might hurt Nintendo. I remember having tons of friends with the Sega Genesis as a kid. One of their big arguments that the Genesis was better than the SNES was the Sega CD. Only one of them had a Sega CD and never got more than Sewer Shark for it. I imagine even the majority of gamers without an HDTV set will tout the PS3 and 360's HDTV resolution support as a point of superiority. 387049 Look at Walmart, entry-level HDTV (30" CRT) is getting cheaper and cheaper. For those who are willing to pay PS3's premium, the sets will not cost much more than the system at launch.
6. That's the word on the street. Part of Nintendo's effort to keep the price down. Personally, I think it's a smart move. Nintendo is aiming at a $150-$250 price tag, most people don't own an HDTV yet and aren't likely to for another few years, and the Revolution is rumoured not to be nearly as graphics intensive as its competition, relying instead on the new controller to introduce a new style of gameplay. 386977 It might have 480p, but I think it's a bad move not to have full HD. Almost all my GC games have 480p, and they look great, as opposed to my PS2, which has about 0.
7. i dont remember exactly how it ends But he Never goes home. something happens and he fixes Als marriage by letting the wife know that he surived some war. Then a narrator say that he keeps jumping and thats about all i remember 386956 Yeah it was like to save his brother's (father's) life he had to stop Al from getting rescued in Vietnam or something, but then he fixed it again. But I know it went longer than that.
8. This is supposed to be a fighter-type game, not flight-sim.
9. Yeah but there are just some questions you don't ask, well, aloud.
10. So you want to ban Roy for 3 days? LOL!!!11 386860 You'll have to run that one by Graham, and even he doesn't frequent the boards as much as Roy.
11. He's always had dark skin, some japanese people do. Which is supprising, seeing as I don't imagine him getting too much sunlight. Maybe it's a common trait him and Focker share?
12. OK Roy your question quota for the day is up. Did he ever get back to his own time?
13. A quick google search found me this one. I don't think 6'3", but he is tall.
14. I GOTTA HAVE MORE TONGE ACTION!
15. What's the flight game that looks like it's on speed?
16. It maybe more the fact that portable DVD players are so much cheaper now, even if they're bigger than the PSP. Now people can take their favorite DVDs with them for about $100, instead of paying $250 for a PSP, not to mention another $20 per title. The reason why the PS2 did so good was it had the games AND the DVD player at a pricetag around that of stand-alone units.
17. You just clicked the button to go to the first post you haven't read. Real good extra. 386354 That's what the "LAST POST BY:" hyperlink is for. Minmei's wraith is now not only obnoxious but redundant as well. 386486 Are you sure? "Last post by"shonld, logically, take you to the last post. Last unread post takes you to the last post you haven't seen before. There's a signifigant diffrence. 386503 You're correct JBO. If you guys are so creeped out by Minmay, never play Fatal Frame.
18. I think the kite sybol rotated 90 degrees clockwise would be good for a "moved" button, and the skull and crossbones is good for "locked." You people complaining about the icon signs need bigger screens. There's plenty of room for them.
19. You just clicked the button to go to the first post you haven't read. Real good extra.
20. Damnit, I was going to post that!
21. If that were true, it would sure put some risk into the whole button-pressing issue; remember, that room was sealed off too. And what if they were outside at the time?
22. You know it is possible to be black AND racist. Anyways, from what I can tell from watching pieces of the show while channel surfing the guy is definitely blind. Seriously, does the guy even open his eyes? He must therefore be asian, because he got good training from Master Poe from Kung Fu.
23. Here's the pic. Seems like it's a map to the other stations, but how to get to them, especally the one in the middle?
24. I like them. Here's some lead, turn it into gold.
