When do the Blu-ray come out?

Wow, that looks insanely detailed. Was it Macross World I saw the detailed model of the TIE Defender?

Still happy with the $15 Nyko solution, but should be interested in seeing how much Harmony charges.

The only two things I really hated about T3 was the T-X and the wussy-angst Stahl-Conner. The trailer for T4 in front of Watchman looked bad-ass! Though I'm a bit disapointed about the hybrid/Terminator angle. Could have done without that, but maybe they'll surprise me with it.

Agreed. The pirates end up playing a crucial role and in a theme that Exosquad seemed to love.

Right. That's the point of Rorschach, I think. He's not attractive physically, but his uncompromising principles are idealized. And lead to his defeat/death.

Agreed. I am liking the main cannons on the DYRL better, I also like the shoulder/partical cannons placement of DYRL better. Definitely like the carriers closer to the body of TV version as well as as the "flatter" nature of the legs and main body of SDF-1 in cruiser mode. Anyone have comparison shots between the TV and DYRL ARMDs?

I've always preferred the VF-11C, but this is looking very very nice. I'm thinking I'll get 2.

I went to the IMAX yesterday. I liked Rorschach. I thought it was spot on with the comic, for the most part and was amazed at how close they got so many details that jumped to mind (from the newspaper scene to others). Bunch of little details I think could be spotted when the Blu-ray comes out. I disagree on Rorschach being an "anti-hero" though. He is the hero. And he loses. Part of Watchmen's underlying point (somewhere between cynicism and relativism).

Demo is... underwhelming. I actually didn't mind the camera mode for the limiter off... I was a bit bored by it, though, once the visual prettyness wore off.

I caught about half an episode. With the black diva wanting to get killed or something. Seemed way too far fetched but Eliza is great to look at anyway.

I want to see a Regult and Glaug more than anything else. Green Q-rau. Nos-Ger. If they have posable Zentraedi figures, that would be nice. If not, I wouldn't care much, really. And VF-2SS/SAP and a Metal Siren. And some Mardook powered armor. Fat chance of either, though. Might be blasphemy but I always liked the Macross II destroids better, than the originals, even. I love the Phalanx-II (for example) while have never really been fond of the original Phalanx... Otherwise, I hope they do a new VF-X2 line in 1/60. VF-19A, VF-22S, VF-17D/S.

Looks and sounds great, of course. I'll wait to see what the exchange rate is gonna be, but I'm thinking I probably won't be able to resist. Wish I had kept my Matchbox from K&B clearance in decent shape. I would hope Yamato would do a "TV add-on pack" or something later, but am loving the ARMD

I just watched the animated Transformers: The Movie again and wish the live action had just been an animated version of that. This one holds up really well over time, unlike the cartoon series (I had very good memories of "The Return of Optimus Prime" but it's pretty bad watching that one).

Batmobile is one of the first things I thought of....

Got the Dark Empire clone Palpatine and DE Luke. Both are pretty damned cool figures. The Luke needs the soft goods instead of the hard plastic flaring cape, but at least he's super articulated. The Emperor is a bit freaky with those lumpy splotches over him and looks a bit freaky without the robe, but is a damned cool figure with the robe. Release of the year so far, IMO, and there have been some cool ones.

Get it. Love my YF-21, even though it's t-bar partially broke in my struggles of the first couple transformations.

I'd love to get a Battle 7.

Sounds like I'll be waiting for this one to hit used or markdown after a year or so.

lol isn't gonna be no non-Blu-ray version. They wouldn't be able to play 95% of the games. There are maybe 2-3 games that are both optical/download. A few dozen mediocre PSN games.... BD-ROM costs Sony maybe $30 bucks per console...

Is the Mk II out yet? That's the one I like...
