    That trailer looked decent. Most X-men stuff takes itself too seriously, though.

    Agreed. They should scale the rest of the Dinobots off MP08... Or do their own MP08 There's certainly room to improve on MP08 with better articulated hands and particularly the tail

    Designer clothes seems pretty analogous to designer toys. Takara is filling a niche and their sold out runs seem to be working, though changing up their model to cheaper smaller models from bigger/expensive is interesting to watch. In almost all cases, most of the KO buyers were never going to buy the original. I was never going to buy Lambor at it's original prices. I'm considering one of the second runs, mostly because I want to compare against the KO. Which as I noted I'm suspicious of. I almost suspect even if it's not Takara winking at it and taking a bit of a toll on the DL, it's the factory itself doing it on their own time (sort of like the cigar companies do) or something like that. It's just too good for me to believe Takara wouldn't get redress through their legit factory if they really wanted it suppressed. Files/music was entirely different and predicated on an anachronistic distribution model (the record companies were never needed to create music - just like other art through history, it was usually sponsored by patronage - and increasingly less relevant for distribution).

    It does make me really wonder why they wouldn't go all the way (Cantach instead of Countach, etc) but way too good to be what we normally called knock offs (Joons, etc). The quality of the instructions and box are way too good, as well.

    I got one on the Lambor KO. Very impressed with the quality ... except for the arm that came off in first transformation. Don't think it's the seller's fault since it looks to me like a defect (stripped screw on one of the shoulders) but doesn't seem to want to do an exchange and is offering money back. I'm countering with what does a one-armed transformer do for me. Not sure how to fix that without a new shoulder piece.

    That trailer is pretty good especially since I normally find Captain American to be a fairly... corny... character and they almost entirely ignore the real cultural implications of such a hypothetical.

    I thought I was going to be passing on these Autobots. I think I can pass on Prowl but will probably get one of his repaints. Still wanting Sideswipe (will probably settle for a KO since not seeing for it $50'ish and $80 is too much), too.

    Ooh, hopefully a good sign that Hasbro will get another go at Grimlock, too. Wonder what this "flaming sword" is about? Did they ditch the light gimmick?

    I picked up one the sole remaining Thundercracker today. Haven't had the MP11 mold before and I think it complements my MP3 mold US Skywarp pretty well. Now i just want another US release of Starscream to complete the triad of original Seekers. I do like the weathering on the WalMart MP3 variant but would like the skirts on the MP11 better... I'll hope Hasbro gives me the best of both worlds for this Christmas.

    Local TRU had a couple Thundercracker on the shelf again at the same $75? right next to spots for Acid Storm and Soundwave though they were gone (and had a Metroplex in their spot, as well). I thought they clearanced all the Thunderchickens at Christmas?

    Yeah all of my Hasbro MP have been fine. I do prefer the coloring of 25th anniversary Prime to the Hasbro MP10 but 9/10th of my preference would be eliminated if they used the reflective blue eyes rather than the shade of red/blue for the legs, fists, and head.

    Combiner would be a good way to get more Decepticons. Can they just sue and/or buy out TFC Hercules and make it 1/3 of the price?
