I buzz my toddler's head regularly. Usually it's with VF-22S Gamlin or VF-27y Brera, but it was with the YF-19 yesterday.

The economics get better if they can share the cost with Bandai and/or a a western company (Hasbro?) in a toy line for the Live Action Robotech movie.

Would have no intention of replacing my Fast Pack bundle version. I wouldn't mind if they revisted after doing the 19Kai/F/S and a couple non-canon F/S schemes (low viz!) as well as Sound Boosters and Fast Packs. Definitely not before the VF-17D/S in both Diamond Force and VF-X2 schemes.

I'm with ya there. I'm not gonna lie, though, I'm still probably gonna get TF3 on Blu-ray -

Firefox sucks anyway. Bloated binary, even before any plugins Opera > Chrome > IE8 > Firefox -
I think the same basic logic (that there won't be enough volume sales) is why Toynami probably wouldn't do it. I hope they prove me wrong and take some of my money, though.

Speaking of Low-Viz, don't know how long I've been hoping Yamato would do a VF-19A (same mold as the YF-19) in the low-viz, if not the same color as the FP. Ah, that would be sexay. Also really would have preferred (and bought!) the blue Ravens scheme, too instead of the Double Nuts and other proto that I didn't. Ideally, they would put chest locks and do something about that canopy to let you open it...

I'd be willing to pay about $100-120 for a decently articulated Regult in 1/60 (without pilot, which could be sold separately). Hard to believe it's not possible, but I'm sure they wouldn't be leaving money on the table, if it was doable. Would they?

Wow. That fighter mode looks incredible. I just had my YF-19FP down off the shelf yesterday and still like it. My biggest nitpick is probably the canopy... nice to have a 2 piece canopy but sucks that I can't open it without the nose getting all jacked.

Variable Fighter Master File VF-19 Excalibur
Uxi replied to nexxstrait's topic in Movies and TV Series
Seems clear that the VF-22 was more capable but most likely more expensive (once the whole BDI thing came to light, to say nothing of the Sharon Apple incident on both the general feeling towards AI, if not the Ghost-X). Prototype YF-19 surviving while YF-21 did not, was probably the finally nail wrt Super Nova, but had nothing to do with Max's estimation. The real IU answer is probably that Max is biased to like the 22's Q-rau looks over the 19's VF-1 heritage. -

Bomba!!! Can't wait.

Yeah, not a chance. Looks so beautiful but I'll get Toynami and look to either mod or hope they do a follow up that's more articulated.

Based on Anime, it would clearly be the VF-11. VF-4 only made one Hikaru toy, and Flashback 2012. Don't recall ever seeing it on screen since. It looks cool, but the impression is that it's basically a VF-1 with the FP integrated in, and we can all clearly agree it's a limited platform compared to VF-11/17/19/21/25

That looks awesome. Really hope this is easily obtainable in NA

That looks awesome. Gunpod looks massive.

Looks like you're up to 23. Going beyond the run of 20 for the guys who want multiples? Anyhow, what's the next step?

Is there a way to put the rainbow on? Perhaps not as strong? I like it on my VF-11B and kinda wish I had a VF-1 v2 that had it ... too afraid of exploding arms to ever get one before.

Just the box art for a Pink Pecker will be C'mon Yamato!

Speaking of WW2 consoles, I kinda miss the WW1-era... so bought the Red Baron Arcade on the PS3. Not TOO Bad. It has online multiplayer, but it's mostly dead. Too bad there's no trophies or I'd play it alot more. I really wish there could be an updated version of ATF-Gold. Everything from the F-15 to MiG-29... F-4 to MiG-21. Loved their take on the "Aurora" and the F-22. Would hope to see some game with all these classic fighters as well as include add-ons like YF-23/F-23A, etc.

Ship interiors are on tribble and should be here for season 2. Pretty well executed, though they still have alot of work to do. This is definitely putting me back towards re-upping my 3-month sub. Swooshing doors and everything. Excelsior and Nebula are coming to the C-Store, both with gimmicks like the Galaxy-X (3-Nacelle version from All Good Things, which has a 'phaser lance', heavy cannons, and a cloak). Supposedly Excelsior will have a transwarp drive allowing it to instantly go to any sector while the Nebula will have an "AWACS style special ability" - most of us are thinking the ability to detect cloaked ships.

Or collapsing. I can't wait, Basara's valk will be a must-have for me. My Bootleg Fire doesn't stand a chance to not go into the odds and ends box in the closet.

Yup, that was my impression. We just saw the equivalent of their well heeled with safari hats. These weren't their war fighters.

I'm still hoping for a non-canon F-22 metallic low-viz scheme.
