  1. Love the B but really want to get at least 1, if not 2 VF-11C and hope for the Protect Armor

    1/100 Toynami Regult

Would it be possible to do an "upgrade kit" to articulate the Battlepod and/or Glaug's legs? Could sell it online straight from the online store or something...
  3. Battroid hatch, shoulder speakers, and... hmm. Guitar flight stick?
  4. Toynami is gonna do a 1/100 Vinyl I hear....
  5. That was the In Universe sequel, I thought.

    1/100 Toynami Regult

Ball joints at the big cannons, knees, and ankles are all I really want in a Regult (bonus points if they put on gimmicks like a closing eye or joints for the anti-personnel or AA cannons or a swappable large missile cluster with removable missiles).
  7. One of the backpack / thrusters broke on my 1/60 YF-21 in the transformation. Looks like the screw that holds the thruster with the 3-flaps to the backpack sheared off. It mostly holds in position and stayed on long enough to get it back into fighter. Wonder if it's worth the trouble to try to get that broken screw out or if I'll just leave it there. This is the same YF-21 1/60 where I the T-bar got a bit of the left "hoop" that goes around the pin sheared off.
  8. Is the Fujimi 1/72 Battle Sky Series No.1 F22 Raptor w/ Engine any good? Really wish one of these companies would do another YF-23 kit. Can't find one anywhere.
  9. That's one a bit outdated. I'm about 15% into level 8 now. 70 some percent on GoW2 (finished Challenge of the Titans) and 5% on GoW3. Got a bit GoW'ed out and moved on first to Transformers: War for Cyberton and now back to Red Dead Redemption. Probably round out the Plat for GoW2 then finish up 3.
  10. It is definitely easy enough. Sony made the PS3 guts very accessible and easily assembled and disassembled. Unfortunately the YLOD fix is not be permanent and will only buy you time (mine lasted about a month). Get a good backup first thing. Then do what you want, but I'd advise deactivating unless you want to keep doing it (one guy I know has done it 7 times before reflowing wouldn't fix it anymore).
  11. Hell I'd be happy for carriers that will go on the DYRL arms. I do prefer the TV color scheme, too, but like the DYRL detail. If one of these is ever cheap enough could see getting one for a repaint.
  12. An In Universe Reboot of the original movie-in-the-movie.
  13. Especially if they do Rodimus... they must must MUST do Galvatron. I'd also like to see Megatron redone as a 'primitive' form of Galvatron (mobile artillery piece in addition to a kid-sized hand-gun).
  14. I guess I forgot to post my el-oh-el at this. I love the I'm-a-man-with-big-balls-and-have-done-it-all attitude there.
  15. Hmm... went back quite a few pages but could someone recap for me: Where's this KO ("Knockoff"?) Prime coming from? Joons style thing? Is MP Grimlock going to be in TRU stores or is it online only?
  16. Well I'd say it's only a matter of time before there's another Macross animation, be it OVA or on Japanese TV... I'm just saying to feature the Regult (if not Zentran and Meltran mecha in general).
  17. Gotta think a Regult would sell in limited volumes, especially if they... get this.... did a remake/reanimation (I <3 the idea of reusing all their vocals from SDF:M but doing new animation). VF-1 is redone a little more VF-0'ish/modern'ish in it's lines. Low-viz is the CF. "Hero" schemes are high-viz/CAG type but more realistic than Max/Milia cartoony stuff. Hell all they'd have to do is a new/updated series with Gamlin's Macross 31 Fleet running into another Zentran or Meltran fleet. They've been using the same gear for couple hundred thousand years. Point is just feature it in some new animation and they can always do their "retro version" for us geeks who still <3 the original. Test version is this one. Ungodly amount of yen and even more horrid amount of dollars to import it. Anyways, first mass version: 12,800 yen: no opening cockpit. They only need articulation on the legs and 4 front guns. Opening and closing eye should be redonkulously easy, but hell leave it out on the first one. The rear is modular (like the Revoltech) which they can milk for various repaints. Or throw it all in one package, whatever. I imagine standard AA guns and long range missile pods like the Revoltech is cool with the short range missile pods a web exclusive and the Scout as a repaint or different SKU. Get a good 2 or 3 repaints out of it. 18,800 yen Special Edition with opening hatch version, AA, short range, long range missile pods, and scout antenna. Pilot is a web exclusive that will import for $80-100 a pop. New Standard Edition includes Special Edition opening hatch and AA guns. 12,800 yen. Who knows where the Exchange Rate is by this point. Sometime around here, Yamato mass produces T-Rex zent with their own joint design. rinse, repeat possibly in a different scale.
  18. My favorite are my Low-Viz. I am also pretty fond of my Hikaru-1S (well except for the head seam).
  19. Yeah, if I was going to get a model/kit we'd be better off begging the Captain to do up another batch.
  20. I've never had an issue opening my canopy. Use my fingernail to crease by the nubs on either side at the front of the cockpit Whitestar, I'd say the hips on my Brera seem just as tight. Have probably done a couple dozen transformations. Usually displayed in Battroid...
  21. Anyone done a long term evaluation on their Brera yet? Arms definitely seem a bit floppier... having issues holding a pose with the huge gunpod. Wish that shoulder joint had been ratcheted... got it to hold, at least for now. Just did another transformation to fighter. Still a beauty and nice and solid there, of course. Managed to avoid chipping on the lilac paint (the nose should be pretty easy), but have a small chip on the darker maroon striping. Cause looks to be the tab behind the hip/intake scratching at it in Battroid, so watch out for that area.
  22. I'm hoping for both original Zola and Whale Blood Red VF-19P. I'd probably want both.
  23. Given all the different shades of CF VF-1, I'm wouldn't be confident in that.
