Unless Macross Galaxy had more than one squadron of VF-27, there probably aren't any other. It's a design unlikely to be produced on another ship/colony. I'd kinda like to see a 'conventional' UN Spacy VF-24 produced by someone (what happened to YF/VF-23?)

Ah, mine is at the post office. Can't get there until Saturday, though.

I really only want the Roy, but the allure of TV pilot Hikaru (I always thought the DYRL flight suits are more than a little ridiculous and like the TV suits much better). I prefer DYRL FAST Packs but don't exactly dislike the TV Super Packs...

I would love it in green TV scheme. Buy it instantly. I'd buy two if they aded a tiny bit of articulation (knees and ankles).

B-Wing was DLC in the X-wing expansion back in the day.

Anyone get Top Gun? Interested in the multi-player and general arcade feel. $15 seems kinda expensive for a PSN game... if it was $9.99 I'd probably get it without much hestitation... what's $5 more? lol.

The computer and electronics super geek thread

At least wait until September, when Apple will supposedly have another solution for IP4. I'd probably say wait till December/January when they usually do a memory bump, but still... -
I still haven't gotten a TV Roy yet, but need to (especially since I don't have a v2 to put my Thunder Hummer parts on!).
-
Seriously. I was mostly j/k myself. I don't really see how they'd be effectively hurt by something they're not mass producing anyway, but the point is well taken. I don't have the equipment or experience to ever risk destroying a Regult and don't really have the budget to afford the kit anyway. I'ma apparently be a Toynami man for my Zent mecha.

I'm not that good at modeling. I'm mostly talking about just a paint job and low-viz squadron markings (probably using F-22 kit/stickers). Kinda like this guy: http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php?page=9

Kinda reminds me of Tyson.

I wanna get 2 x 1/72 YF-23's... one to do gunship grey. The other to do in an F-22-style metallic low-viz as if it was a production F-23A
-
I was kinda sad the Micro-machine-esque game thing died out. I was hoping to get more capital ships. I really want a capital ship type game (board or computer) to play strategically, as well as tactically.
-
I suppose it would be uncouth to hope someone will recast it?
-
I'd be happy with your conjecture on the evolution of a production F-23A and variants, as well.

Funny comment I read on another board about "Jedi Rocks" replacing "Lapti Nek" that about sums up my thoughts: That said, I do think the CGI needs to be re-done, and would like to see a less aged Yoda CGI replace the Muppet in Ep 1 , as well as (gasp), Ep 5 and 6.

Yeah, I remember reading about the thrust reversers getting deleted from the requirements. Shock cones huh. THAT is something that I haven't read before. Please post 'er up. And any other thoughts

Probably. Can't seem to search within a thread anymore. YF-22 to F-22A saw practically the entire plane redesigned, though, moving the cockpit, redesigned wings and horizontal stabs, etc Think the 23 would have been as drastic for production?
-
Got it. Pretty damned cool. This is probably from the last batch of the Langley birds, not an Elmendorf. There is a slight gap under the canopy but I'd only know it's there if light is shining behind it. I don't really get the point of the movable horizontal stabs if those are the only parts that move. Moving flaps and ailerons, leading edge, etc would have been nice little touches but definitely cool. Currently displayed plane with all panels closed (how I like it). Wish they would do a concept F-23A... wish someone would re-release the 1/72 kit (problems or not, but ideally fixed up). I keep losing on evil-bay. What do you think was likely to change from YF-23 to F-23A production if it had won, David?
-
It's not a kit, it's the assembled die-cast toy version. IIRC you were saying it was the most accurate back in the day, but that may have changed.

I just sidestepped from my Nokia N97 to a Nokia N900 (couldn't pass up the deal for $350 unlocked/unbranded). Great geek phone and completely unlocked (includes a shell out of the box). Overclock by recompiling your kernel, etc. Definitely not as complete of a "phone" as the N97. Best web browser.evAr. Better than my iPhone browser, better than the Droid browsers, etc. Great web and email platform, but not as good as at Social Networking or Messaging as the N97, but same Carl Zeiss 5mp cam with dual LED flesh and external lens cover (pretty standard Nokia fare since the N95 in 2007). Funny part is that the N900 on T-Mo HSPA is faster than my DSL. I get about 3.1M down and 1.7M up. Really gotta upgrade to the 20M/5M FIOS). -
I ordered a Hobbymaster 1/72 F-22A. What version of the thread were we talking about that in? We can't search inside a single thread anymore? Sigh. Anyways, anyone get one? David? I've been reading about the 'mod' to make some of the gaps around the landing gear, etc disappear and curious what I'm in for.

Bout the only scene I don't care for is Greedo shooting at all. The rest is whatever and def glad the strings on the TIE fighters are gone. Hopefully the Snowspeeder canopy gets completely opaque one of these days. Def buying the BD-set but may wait to see if it's a super set or whatever. Ideally, it would have all the deleted stuff edited in (Extended Editions, if you will). Seamless branching would be preferred but I don't mind if it's all in a Ueber-Edition cut. Don't expect to see the theatricals at all.
