I used to love this thing in ATF-Gold. Almost as much as the F-15 and F-22... I wish there was an updated ATF-Gold with all those planes and the YF-23 and the VF-1. -

Are those vents really carved into the back? Does it still transform?

I like my Fast Pack bundle issue of the YF-19 as it doesn't appear to have any of the QC defects most complained about. The only way I could rebuy this same sculpt, though, is if it was in VF-19A VF-X blue scheme.

Is there an FAQ anywhere? No subs on the Blu-ray hybrid, right? Probably a duh since there wouldn't be any need for fansubs otherwise... unless some people just don't want to spend the money. Ami Ami has the hybrid BD for 3930 yen, which is MUCH better than the $80 from yes-asia, etc. Anyone order and see how much their shipping was? Still, even if it's $40 or so, with no subs and no BD-ROM yet to rip it for patching the .iso, it means I'm mostly paying for the PS3 demo then, though I would probably watch the animation and maybe read a text script on the side or something....

Yet you don't actually HAVE TO transform the tails. Almost wish they had some detachable extensions to give them the proper length.

With the black piece down, it doesn't let you open it more than 30-40 degrees or so. To get beyond it, it opens up the nose. If the black piece went down all the way, or retracted forward into the nose (kinda like the VF-11 heat shield), it could work like that. EDIT: well just now gave it a tiny bit of force and it DOES. Or I broke it. EDIT2: Yup, does seem to work Hilarious, after all this time. Pretty tight to get it out of it and didn't imagine that grey botton on the bottom would stick down that far. Cool! Have a link on that? I'm about to dig through my closet for the box/instructions to see if I did miss it over. Or if it's one of those things where there's a circle and an arrow with some Japanese I can't read.

The first post should be edited with the latest info or something. I haven't been interested in the movie since I was gonna wait for the fansubbers to get at it and lots of good reviews... The Blu-ray release isn't subtitled, right? I'm kinda hestitant to order it just for the PS3 demo I probably won't understand much of... Wanted a full PS3 version of Ultimate/Ace Frontier forever though, so it's getting hard to resist. Besides, if I import anything right now, I want a satin silver Fat PS3... -
AFAIK, the FP bundle set was perfect, at least as far as QC/defects. I know mine didn't have a crooked gunpod (I would say the codpiece still gets in the way a bit, but that's just a bad design right there, from the hory froating head's design to Yamato's execution on it), landing gear, etc. Swapping pilots with the VF-11B made it much better. This says nothing to the design issues like the non-locking chest, and my biggest beef, the canopy/nose business: love the 2-piece opening canopy. Hate having to dislocate the nose to open it.

No word on a full version yet, huh? If the trial has trophies, I'm gonna have to get it. Anyone see if this was at Frank & Sons or is playasia still my best bet?

How does the load out of an F-35 compare to an F-16? IIRC, the JSF could carry internally just about what an F-16 needs external stores to do (and would have to drop to dogfight, etc) while the JSF going external gives it almost Strike Eagle weapons packages... doesn't it? Cough!

The feet on those Zentran are ridiculous (unfortunately very canon). I'm interested in the VF-1 sized Zentran, for sure. At least two, I'm thinking. Did the Trex come with a rifle?

No news on Move support yet. I'm thinking it's a fan's wishful thinking. There would be a Move ball somewhere on there. I picked up the Move myself and like it ok. Top of my list would be a lightsaber 1:1 game and a prequel to Heavenly Sword where you're the original Heavenly Warrior. Finally got passed the Boss Batch 3 glitch on GoW2 and got the platinum:

Vietnam era prequel movie could work. Otherwise, Maverick should have been in the Viper role. Anything else would stink and you don't need Cruise at all for (except maybe a cameo?)

I don't really follow that series... was it ONLY available in 3D? I thought it would have been like an IMAX thing where it was available in 3D for some theaters but available "normal" in others. I usually skip the movies and just wait for the Blu-ray these days (arguably better PQ and sound, without any of the crowds or people on cell phones, etc).

I am still hating the idea of two movies. I won't mind the idea of doing the Hobbit in one movie and then a second moving bridging the Hobbit with LOTR, but definitely don't want the Hobbit split up.

I'll probably go to the movies just for the whole environment again, but doubt I'll buy any 3D Blu-ray until I get a 3DTV.
