They wouldn't have been nearly as slick. But I really think they shouldn't as be. They should be about the same dimensions as a YF-21 with belly plates... maybe a bit smoother. Oh well, water under the bridge. My Gamlin is still my single most favorite valk.

I bought myself the Driving Force GT. Pretty nice wheel! I do really prefer the G27's pedals and H-shifter, though. Wish Logitech would make a PS3 optimized G27 because I love having all the face buttons, PS button, etc on the DFGT... I started building myself a cockpit, too.

I always liked the Dracula one.

Did you ever do 1/60 pilots? I would kinda like a TV Roy with the mullet/pompadour coming out of his helmet...

I'll get a regular VF-11C and a special one. Hopefully it could be done to be kinda like the 1/60 VF-1 v1 FP models that had a few improvements (maybe ratcheted wings or hardpoints?) with some appropriate holes in the legs, etc to facilitate mounting but not be otherwise obviously new sculpt/design and make the current releases obsolete.

VF-17 and a few accessory sets (hopefully not exclusive), that would hopefully also work on the VF-11C: Radome, Foldo Boosta, reaction missile (probably have to clip on hardpoints for the wings like the Bandai MacF valks do). Ever since swapping my VF-11B Isamu into my YF-19FP, I've really wanted a pilot pack. Ground crews would be nice. Should be pretty cheap and 1/60 scale makes it difficult to use all the stuff that's already out there for models, etc.

I would have preferred a continuation sequel of the fist (with or without Stallone). Hate remakes in general, though, and did like the original.

OTOH, it brings to mind an argument I once heard about alien sightings always in rural areas asking why the aliens wouldn't appear downtown in the biggest city (LA for West Coasters or NYC for East Coasters).

I really want a VF-11C, but it's just too expensive to justify right now (and the exchange rate isn't helping). If I see a good sale at HLJ or Ami Ami, I'll probably get it, but I'd think it would have to go to at least ~12000 yen or so before I'll consider it. Haven't gotten an Max VF-22 yet either, which is also on my list.

I would TOTALLY buy that TV version. I know the DYRL is different, but I don't care. I doubt I would be interested in a translucent Daedalus attack arms, but I WOULD want optional ARMD's to swap in place of the Daedalus and Prometheus (as a "what if"). TV colors, the sculpt and detail of DYRL, and the carrier arms are exactly what I want. I am fine with the differences in the main guns. I would prefer TV shoulders and particle cannon mounts, but can live with the DYRL. The part I would most want to see changed wrt shoulders is spaced outboard more, so that the carrier/arm can go directly back instead of at the angle. I'm not preordered and not otherwise planning on the DYRL. Color scheme is boring, though I do like the ARMDs.

True that. They wouldn't have had competition in that, either, unlike the GN-U Dou battroids, which were going up directly against the Revoltechs. They may have been able to beat Revoltech to the punch with transformable, too.

I like my GNU, but seems like they come apart pretty easy. Probably should put a spot of glue to keep them together. Too bad they're not transformable, though.

That's awesome. Really wish we could see these for say... 2000 yen assembled and painted. Maybe a 2 pack for 3900 or so with weapons.

Yamato can reuse the wings from the Fire-Valk to make the VF-19 variant from the Master File, too. IIRC it was the D/E?
