You tell 'em. Here's a hint... the stuff in the animated Clone Wars IS basically an expansion to Attack of the Clones (at least from the last hour or so)...

At least I can put my 1/60's back together. The 1/48 backpack comes off, it's gonna be stuck in another mode... or be an expensive "battle-damaged" gimp-valk.

That's how it was last season, too. Don't worry some Canadian channel will run it one of these days...

Rebelscum.com I have the Anakin Clone Wars fighter. It's pretty cool. Doesn't have the blow-off panel gimmick, but it doesn't really DO anything other than fire it's "proton-torpedo." It's mini-wings on the back fold down and the wing-tops extend, as well... It also has a vectored thruster thingy on the back...

Not bad. I think I'd prefer he was some sort of artillery piece... kinda like a more primitive Galvatron with a robot form that is as close to the G1 as the 20th Anniversary Prime is to the cartoon. THOUGH, I do like the idea of a non-transforming 20th Megs, as well. Since we ALREADY have his alt mode included with the 20th Prime.

Yeah, that backpack hinge is notorious. That whole piece should be a separate one that's more easily replacable... AND it should be built like an analogous piece on the Takara MP-1 Convoy (the kidney/lower back area in robot mode). Each hinge itself is probably 3 or 4 times as thick as on the Yammie and one of the mating halves is die-cast. It feels nice and solid...

I'd rather have that than the normal Monster... at least in 1/60!

Yeah... I'm not sure if Spielberg is the guy to do it... or Cruise... but I like the premise of it being set towards the original novel... I thought the TV show was kinda cool as a kid. Then they went and killed everyone in one episode and you could tell production "values" (such as they were) took a crap.

Yeah I'd be down for a set.

Oh yeah, and I agree with Blaine, Leb's site is about as unbiased and complete as is possible. In fact, I can't think of any other site with Leb's credibility in this community.

Wow, congrats I guess. I'm surprised the HK bootleg people haven't done this kinda packaging for a VF-1 Super. They still use styrofoam for the bootleg Fire and Blazer valks... they'd make a mint, I imagine...

I like the MPC more than the Chunky Monkey. It's alot more posable and gerwalk is definately it's best aspect. It doesn't feel fragile like the Yamato (even the 1/48 with it's backpack area, in particular). It's not a bad buy at all... just don't pay too much ($50 bucks is reasonable IMO). I like my 1/60 overall better than all of my other valks, though... especially to zoom around the house, etc better than the 1/48s (which are the best display pieces... just a tad too big, especially in Super/Strike trim, to actually pseudo-play with). Plus they have the largest selection of variants and such, as well.

I would totally buy a Yamato VF-22S of any type. IT's all ready too, since they already sculpted the different canopy and face! VF-X, M7 (Max and Miria), M7D Gamlin... I'd probably want at least one of each. But then I'm one of the few total fans of the YF-21FP design. Course I got a ringer or something... I don't have any of the problems most of you seem to have with em. But even so I woudln't MIND if they ratcheded the hips and made the FP panels a bit thinner with folding landing gear (there's more room here than in the regular leg covers, Yamato!).

Some of you guys are harsh. Funny but harsh. Bigger box indeed... I can't wait. I'm thinking of getting one or two CF VF-1A's... 1/60 forever baby!

I'm all for it. Personally I'd like to see 1/72 VF-X series expanded with the VF-22S (it's all ready! just refine the YF-21FP a bit... ratcheded hips for the whiners , change the colors and use the already sculpted parts)... VF-17... Use this ephemeral YF-19FP to do a new VF-19A FP... Then VF-11C. THEN get to these... after VF-4, VF-14 maybe...

It'd be nice. But don't hold your breath. Hell, I'd just like a glimpse of the YF-19FP...

Looks nice. I'd certainly want at least one set... I'm thinking you should do another set in a normal fist type that could possibly fold into the arm if possible... kinda like the 1/60 standard hands... I would also like for my Valk to possibly be a lefty (hold a gunpod in the left pod), as well... I'm envisioning you could keep us happy and make a little something to make it worth your while if you did: 2 x closed-fist DYRL hands that can fold in the arms AND hold a gunpod 2 x posed DYRL hands with trigger finger extended (left and right) 2 x posed DYRL open-hand (left and right) I might even take 2 closed fixed non gunpod holding hands for those boxing matches with pipe wielding Zentraedi.

Well Hayao Kakizaki says alot that makes sense... It makes me wonder how much places like HLJ and the US e-tailers are getting them for... if they're getting equally raped through their "gray market" distributors... or we're making things more profitable for them... Twin Moons' sale would seem to suggest the latter. That said, I'm not opposed to VE and anyone else making a living, or in paying higher premiums to get better and more local service... Anyone seen this thing at Frank & Sons yet? How much is it going for?

Parts would be nice, but it's doubtful they'll ever be easily available for the US. Hell, I'd like 1/60 parts so I can upgrade my Valkyries since Yamato is never gonna.

Hmm... I"m mixed. Something with at least minimal articulation SHOULD have been included with the Q-rau, and this one coming out SHOULD have been a better one that could also go into the Q-rau... Need more info for an opinion, though. First impression is definately not good.

Heh I'd like a white "Return of Optimus Prime"/ Ultra Magnus Convoy/Prime special edition re-release. I'd probably buy that Takara!
