  1. Yep. Straight out of the bottle--do not dilute.
  2. Nice!
  3. Nice to see 1/55s getting some love!
  4. Which is why I'm perplexed that GA had trouble with it. That stuff works great and it doesn't turn your parts into goo.
  5. I'm thinking you got a bad bottle of Pine Sol. All the experten customizers (like KK, etc.) used it. That's how I heard about it. I did switch to the lemon scent due to smell and I always shake it up thoroughly before pouring. Anyone else out there have trouble?
  6. I've used pine sol on everything from Engine Paint to Testors. Works flawlessly. You submerge it in a sealed container and walk away. Scrub it off with a bristle brush when it gets bubbly. Every Valk I've done has been doused in Pine Sol to strip it. Anything stronger makes me worry about permanent damage to the plastic.
  7. BWAHAHAHAHAHAH! DEATH TO THE GIRLFRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I laugh cuz I did the same thing once....sorta. Pine Sol and patience my man. Pine Sol and patience. I won't use anything else (I may try what the previous poster suggested though. Sounds way cool!).
  8. Chipping is a *FACT* of life. What you have to do is as I did.......... I find a bottle paint that is a close match to my spray can base coat and use that with a brush for touch ups. I have a file on the computer for each Valk that shows what colors I used. Places where they rub even with lots of sanding are best hit with a quick dab of flat paint that closely mimicks what you used to spray it with. Eventually you won't have to touch it up any more. The movement will wear it down to the point that paint stops flaking. Just take good notes. Sanding is your friend though. Truly.
  9. I love the red but you gotta' strip the decals and underlying markings before you paint it. I wanted to do an "Enemy Ace" Valkyrie, painted blood red like the comic character with German markings. Yours is already remarkably close to that! Also, for a tip... You should: 1) Sand the heck out of everything. 2) Base coat in white (so you can get the white markings to show up--trying to paint white over the red will be really hard.)
  10. *gargle* *gasp* *wheeze* *THUD*
  11. Rock on!! The Chunky Monkey Mafia welcomes you to our domain.
  12. BINGO!!!!!!!!!! And man the parallels this gives us to REAL LIFE. It is poignant at the most BASE level of humanity.
