  1. Cut the post out of the inside of the thigh: Then JB-WELD both halves of the top thigh segment and both halves of the lower thigh segment together. They should look like the original photo but without a screw. Take THIS part: And FILE IT DOWN to look like *THIS*: It should fit inside the LOWER section of the thigh (the part where you removed the post in the previous step).
  2. Here's how I did it: First of all take the elbow joint assembly from a BOOTLEG Valk... The bootleg has softer plastic and is easier to work with (and they are cheap). Then saw the thigh in half (it doesn't matter how you do it but I just did it 90 degrees from the deck). Take it all apart once you saw the thigh....
  3. And of course my daughter wanted to help so...
  4. Distorted color but shows the A stance pretty well.
  5. Well, I finally got around to working on the midnight blue Valkyrie from the TV series. I actually have a decent camera now so I can post a picture that shows the right color. Hope you like it so far. It has a LONG way to go but will be finished soon with some luck.
  6. Competition = ZERO U.S. Dollar = WEAK Petroleum = EXPENSIVE Initial Capital Investment = HUGE PRICE = YIKES
  7. TIME OUT!!!!!!! Okay, so the color of Hikaru's GBP is the "standard" GBP color? Is that right?
  8. That's what I was after. Thanks. Is there anything in the pipeline to suggest this may happen?
  9. Is the 1/48 "J" out WITH the GBP "SUMO" Armor (if not, will it ever be)?
  10. Ditto. No offense to anyone but weathering is often way over done. This is a perfect example of a "clean" Valk ready for duty at the airshow.
  11. I would definitely go inside and look around. If I see any I will grab them up. They were cheap.
  12. In the MODELS section at Hobby Lobby. I have seen them. I am staring at one on my desk that I bought in Tulsa at Hobby Lobby about a month ago in fact. I don't have the box it came in......on the bottom of the stand it says it is MADE IN HAWAII. YMMV but they are identical to what I see in the photo above but with a ROUND base instead of a square one.
  13. YOU CAN BUY THOSE AT "HOBBY LOBBY"!!!!!!!!! They still have lots of them in stock so if you hurry over you might get lucky.
  14. Or like a Tornado from the 2000s. Hmmm. I guess you need glasses. I saw no criticism just insults (over an unfinished project no less--there are no photos of the final version of that Valk sadly). When you can do the former I'll listen otherwise I'll just b-slap your happy butt into next week. It wasn't Ginrai's work any way. He was pointing out the crazy head to everyone and I simply made my comment that it looks bad with a silver visor. He got the point and wasn't insulted. I'm failing to see why you should butt your mug into it. *YAWN* Back to business..... Hey Ginrai, for what it's worth I actually did a red Milia "S" in Skull Squadron paint with a GREEN visor and it looked pretty good. It was blood red all over though not the lighter candy apple red the 1/48 has. Let me know if you need any stickers I have plenty of spares for "S" models. <S>
  15. Actually I showed you two cool jets: the Tornado and my Valk. It is one of the most innovative and creative custom paint schemes I have ever seen. That you cannot appreciate it says far more about you than it does about me. Its beauty speaks for itself. I am INCREDIBLY proud of this Valkyrie, comments from the one-man peanut gallery be damned. My only regret is that I do not still possess it. It was *THAT* good... *salute* Now back to the thread... That Red Head looks awful with the silver visor. Green or Black in there would have made it look a lot better. Wonder why they managed to choose sliver?
  16. Yeah, WHATEVER, EXO. I'm glad to see you are still COMPLETELY ignorant of what this Valk represents. So be it. I'm proud of it. It's beautiful... The guy who bought it is very happy with it and we both think it totally rocks (you should see it with the heatshield and FAAST pack setup on it--AWESEOME). In fact, you are the only person who has ever said anything bad about it and that's because you just don't like me verbally and mentally spanking you on a regular basis... Well I don't like you either so quit following me around the boards like some lovesick homosexual and move on. Oh, and my Valk would have certainly won at a REAL Tiger Meet that's for sure. http://www.natotigers.org/ http://www.natotigers.org/press/ntm05_uli/index.htm http://www.tiger-link.com/NTM2003%20-%20page%201.htm http://modelingmadness.com/others/features...eet/tm2002b.htm Take your ignorance elsewhere.
  17. UGH. That thing is hideous. That silver visor is awful. If it were black or green it might look better but silver? *gag*
  18. If you use fluorescent lighting you are asking to get spanked. The only way you can get away with that is to use a UV blocking coated glass over it...and even then you will still get some UV through it. I am told that car window tinting (like LUMAR) blocks 90+ percent of UV light. Consider that...
  19. Very pretty, sir.
  20. I would like one. Any chance it can come in GRAY like the LOW VIS? HAHAHA
  21. Probably zero. The VF-1 is my first love so I can't imagine anything better... Have to see the finalized product to decide. The VF-0 looks gangly and awkward to me. It has some advanced features but these would have been better implmented in the VF-1 IMHO. And to think they have a carrier fighter with main gear doors like that still makes me chuckle. Those things would get smashed on the first trap.
  22. Graham why are the Yammies not talking to you any way?
  23. Actually the bootleg guns suck. They have poor texture and are molded backwards (the screws are on the wrong side). They are okay to use for building a custom collapsible gunpod but other than that they suck pretty badly IMHO.
  24. Good taste my man! I am impressed, most people don't even remember her. 321146[/snapback] Dude I'm still in love with her. She's the only reason to watch "Red Sonja" you know? She's *still* hot. http://www.moviecity.nl/thumb-film.php?fil...crews/13692.jpg
