LOL starship troopers I'd forgotten about that despite owning the dvd. -
I wonder if the upcoming Torchwood where nobody dies will be how the Dr stays "alive" ? Possible tie in maybe.

Yeah they could cross pollinate it with 90210 and set it at a high school for children of USMC Guys on Long outer system tours That said they story still would better than most of the AvP spin off stuff -

This is the same universe that has Prime and all the Autobots all fixed shiney and new, after a major battle. Starscream all fixed up Barracade the same, but Megatron the supposedly most powerful Con all beat up living in Africa covered in Insecticons like fleas. Go figure ? In Bayvers the next film would have Megs and all the dead Cons back complaining of head aches and be otherwise A1. -
OhhWW! dark and mysterious........

I always thought that the "fossilization" was due to the atmosphere interaction. Also I always asumed that the atmosphere was thin as well as non viable for humans. Would have to check the DVD as they IIRC have some info on the Atmos content. Part of the "Fossilization" could be due to low temperature and thin dry atmosphere as this would have a dehydration effect on the body. -

Cant most school kids make it these days. -
I think as a 20-20 vision person I think the overall 3D was not in your face although the two scenes you mention did POP the 3D, there is something in you eyes compensating the effect, your eyes can temporarily "learn" to adapt although it is actually your brain doing the compensating.

I have that same book, true there are lots of really good paint schemes in there all needing someone to paint them up for real. Great work

The build is great all the little changes and stuff like the grab handles, this is the sort of thing you'd see when something is adapted to be used in a specific role, kinda like you see modifications done by troops to Hummers etc whilst in the field, makes each one individual.

Looking Good I think I may be in for a few sets, after all cant just have one set as it would look odd in the display case.

As the saying goes no smoke without fire, we'll just see how close it is to the release. -
For those who wear glasses, get your self a pair of those clip on sunglasses that clip on to the frames of your glasses. Take out the sunglasses lenses, and pop in the real 3D glasses lenses, and your all set. Those clip ons only cost a couple of bucks or so. Easy.

If kanedaestes post is an accurate paraphrased short of the script basics, then looks like it will work for me, add that Mr Scott himself is at the helm and I think we may have a winner -

Even though in ROTS we all knew what was gonna happen it was still sad, I was still rooting for at least one Jedi to get some payback and survive. Yoda doesn't count by the way. -
Wow totally stunning, it looks cannon to me How did you do the leg camo/graphics ?

The thing everyone's missed is she's a girl of dateable age who likes transforming mecha. That's a rare breed. My misses likes the films for the action and special effects, but still isn't in to macross because its "cartoons" and they are for kids. On the flip side she likes Dr Who and Star Trek so all is not lost. -
Just to let you know what a super guy Valk009 is here is a picture of mine bought from the last build run. Still not built but great , as you can see the same boxes decals and build etc P.S sorry about the grainy picture but all my stuff is in storage so only had my phone and crappy light.

I think lousy editing is the only real shocker from this film. There are so many bad cuts or just plain old obvious missing important scenes that it is the only thing that really makes it bad, I really hope they address at least some of them in time for DVD/Blu-ray release. Although going on Mr bays previous releases, and I have a surprising amount of them I doubt he'll bother. But if any of them appear in an extras deleted scenes thing then I'm gonna fire up my editing software and cook me up a "proper" version . -

I think I may pay to see that one but only if I get to see Macawley Culkin stomped by a non micronised Zentran. -

I feel my interest level increasing -
The mission impossible is to actually like the film, the last one was a bit Meh!! the one before that was less Meh!! and the first one wasn't really Meh!! at all mainly due to it being the first. So I guess the next one will be MEH!!! zzzzzz!

Well just got back from seeing it, I was the only one to book tickets in advance, got my sweet spot seats . The film was kinda what I was expecting. Without using spoilers talk the good bits less toilet humour, more bot action ,lots more booms and distruction. Lots of nods to the G1 era and the war for Cybertron game. The bad a lot of human time filling in the story, sometimes telling you stuff that you already worked out or knew. Some bits where I wanted an explanation I didn't get one. Some bits where I thought I don't care. There were a few really bad cuts, one in particular made me think wtf did we miss a bit. I guess we may see them fixed on dvd release with extra scenes. I have to say sometimes I thought there was too much death both bot and con. Bays slowmo cam is probably broken now due to over use, maybe that's a good point. The 3D in places was a bit blurred but over all was just enough imo. Some obvious uses of Bays favorite sets and places as used in other Bay films. Overall the story was simple and in parts will be familiar to most die hard G1 fans. I'd go and see it again and would buy it on dvd. Its not as bad as some would have you think, but could have been better. I was never expecting a work of art but rarely these days do you get one anyhow. May be if Bay won't do another someone else will pick up the baton, and take the story some more, would be interesting to see where though. -
