Recently there have been several DNS based hacks and DDOS attacks on the internet, at work we have seen several of our clients effectivley removed from the internet due to their providers DNS being pinged out of existance or falling prey to the hack. The whole DNS structure of the internet has been a bit shakey ever since. I guess the hacks are still on going here and there although all our clients that were hacked are back up and runnig and those that were not have been patched to stop it. They even tried to hack our server, they didnt reckon for us back hacking them and geting them removed from their ISP

Saw this the otehr night, completely ignored the critics saying it wasnt worth it etc. Yes some parts were predictable, some were not, but visually it was very good, I kept thinking where did they film that bit or how much render time dd that take to look that real. I was trying to work out Still keeps you guessing almost till the end. Models of mecha, weapons and ships would be great IMO.

A five foot high half sucked Popsicle would look more real, and probably could act better.

I have some random Previously peroxided parts in a box in the loft which again have been there for the same time the other bits I mentioned in my previous post have been sat on the shelf. All were bleached at the same time and came from 1/55's of the same age etc. the loft ones have yellowed slightly so I guess Oxygen still has a part to play in this whole thing. I guess your out of direct sunlight display is the best you can do short of a dark room with a totally inert atmosphere like Nitrogen or Argon. I have the corridor in my house between the lounge and Kitchen which is only getting light as it bounces off the walls and the light bulb in the ceiling, so it is as good as I can get unless I build some air tight box with no windows to put it all in.

I have some parts which I popped in a Kinlner jar of Peroxide for two months three and a half years ago. Since then they have been sitting in that jar, with the lid clamped shut on a top shelf in a north facing room out of any direct sunlight. They have still gone yellow. although not as much as a part i just left on the shelf lower down. Proof that sunlight is the key and as long as it is light they will yellow. Going to check some parts I have in storage (closed box) no sunlight to see how they have faired. Interestingly I have the nose cone section of a part built Hasegawa Vf1 that is also going yellow, it has been on the shelf for about the same amount of time.

Trying to get EA Games to consider a Robotech/macross first/third pers
big F replied to llPREDATORll's topic in Games
I think that the whole situation will never really change all the time there is such a thing as region locks and influence from third party distributors. When and if these two things get sorted then the better for all imported media types, then at least they wont get religated to the imports section or dark corner of your local media stockest. The wealthy investor thing could work afterall, just seen on the news that a guy is investing millions into remaking the Titanic, not the film the actual ship, so he can run a vintage style trans-atlantic cruise package. There is hope for Macross yet. -
I guess if they do or if some one does want to, they could fill an order book quite nicely.

With car headlights in bad cases you can really see them cracking and in some cases the plastic deforms when the lights are used for long periods. I read an article sometime ago which said you could polish them with toothpaste. The car companies are on a winner there with spares, although mostof them believe that cars should be scrapped after 10 years so they wouldnt need new headlamps. If that were the case one of my cars has 18 months till I should scrap it, and the other should have been scraped 17 years ago. Imagine if we applied that to toys, "Sorry kid you've had that toy for a couple of years now it's scrap" It would make our colections worth 10 times the current value. Looks to me like you have a dream line up there.

Thanks for that I will have to do a test purchase when they get to a number I don't have. Unless some one else chime in and says other wise. I bet it has to do with font availability or licensed use of said fonts, seen this sort of thing before. A friend of mine is in the print business, and recently spent ages with a client trying to find an except-able alternative font, when the one the client wanted was out of his price range due to the Licence not being freely available, eventually they found an "acceptable" one.

Simon Cowell is to the music industry what Michael Bay is to the film industry, a do what he wants and people will still want more kinda guy. In a way I'm glad he is spending more time in the USA That means he is less focused on the U.K market which his boy band manufactured tripe has all but killed off. At least in the USA you guys have more emphasis on multiple charts like Rock, Country, Rap and then the Billboard. Over here in Blighty we only ever really here about the main one which is everything mashed together. One down side is we get to vote, his pre-ordained this is going to be the Christmas number one was well and truly scuppered by the people buying Rage Against The Machine's Killing in the name, when we showed him we'd had enough. I just hope he never joins forces with Bay as then we are all doomed.

So for those of us who didn't get all the issues last time round. I suppose it is pointless trying to fill the gaps with this release. Is it worth me trying to get the rest of the original series instead of ending up with another half finished series?

Bay needs to remember one thing... People in America land can own and use guns quite with in the law..... One day someone will take a proper dislike to his meddling with 80's pop culture icons.

I also have in the past had similar with this thread and others. I don't use Hotmail anymore for this forum, but when I changed the problems followed to the new mail account. I ended up using desktop shortcuts instead

Transformers: Age of Extinction - in theaters June 27, 2014
big F replied to taksraven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
What and have the main characters fall in love and cut to some slushy footage of them running over hill sides, sharing picnics and rolling around in long grass. At least then It could get sold to Disney. Then we would have to endure more Mouse based products only this time they'd transform. Bonus would be no shakey cam and ultra close , close ups, Lucas like his details.- 950 replies

Star Trek Into Darkness, in theaters May 17, 2013
big F replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Given the past history of all Trek films, sooner or later they will have to destroy at least one Enterprise, It is a statistical certainty, regardless of reboot etc.- 1020 replies
