http://www.finescale.com/en/Videos/How%20To/2012/02/Decanting%20Spraypaint.aspx That's the cleaner version of how I've decanted in the past. My way usually ensures you get colour matching hands and clothing.

That is a really good idea, I used that to great effect the paper was the under chassis of the build and plastic over the top. Plastic can be sanded an filled and made more detailed than paper.

I was lucky enough to score all the Destroids the first time out. After buying them everything else just pales into the shadows Hasegawa included. I need to get back on the Captain America buying wagon again.

I am so looking forward to this finally a "real" space film. I agree that it has a 2001 feel but also a bit of Europa Report too.- 197 replies

Transformers: Age of Extinction - in theaters June 27, 2014
big F replied to taksraven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Just got back from seeing it, everything I wanted to say has already been said. My major issue wasn't with the film, it was with the numb nuts teens in front of us who spent the entire film texting, and standing up during the star of the film blocking everyone's view. A special WTF goes out to the woman in front of us who got up 4 times during the film to go out and buy drinks. She arrived with drinks and snacks. May well see it again further down its run when the cinema is more empty. It was the better of the 4 but not by much.- 950 replies

My old boss's eldest does it he built a filming stage for him in the shed, he spend all weekend in there with his Lego, to get a few mins of footage. Stop motion version of the 1986 movie would have to have all the proper backgrounds for me. Except the Junkion planet which could be filmed in a kitty litter box full of scrap toys parts.- 9240 replies

Possibly more script than a Micheal Bay film. Someone should start a crowd fund to stop motion the 86 movie.- 9240 replies

The reality is we now have a fully transforming accurate figure for something Hasbro and Sunbow never actually considered could be a toy, Skyfire was more anime magic than the VF1 he was made to replace.- 9240 replies

Nothing that a little panel line wash can't fix. This is the one toy I wanted Hasbro to make. I even considered doing one myself. Now I don't have too. Strike one job off my build list.- 9240 replies

This could end up like the Abrams version of Star Trek in that it will re-spotlight the series, not that it needs it so much as Star Trek did by the time of the reboot. There will obviously be the purist haters out there. I liked the film but although I loved the original series I always thought it lacked something. Never got into Atlantis or universe though, as I'd got bored of it then like I has with Star Trek. It just ended up being same format each week stuff.

Has Hasbro employed anyone from either Yamato or Hasegawa. With that amount of mold milking you'd think so.- 950 replies

There is always someone out there who'll tell you a film is going to be crap even before anyone has seen it and often before any trailers have been shown. How I love it when they are wrong.- 180 replies

I read a review of Benny's Spaceship, it said it was going o be around $100, I'm guessing they'll just change the currency sign to a £ so they can clean out the U.K pockets. We will probably end up with the situation of being able to buy one in the U.S and ship it to the U.K for less than you can buy it here.
