I just ordered the Lil Drakens, so barring any surprise mystery releases I'm on the final countdown for the AP, the 31A SPs, and the 31E. Bandai plz no more.

@borgifiedThat photo is a custom job or something. The actual Lil Drakens are blue and Bandai haven't displayed them with the SP.

Ah damnit. Not a huge fan of the Lil Draken gimmick, but I do kinda regret not picking up a 31F to eventually kit out with a Xigfrid speaker module. But then I have to decide whether I want to get the SPs before demand goes up or whether I'll live with the Lil Drakens. Where is the 31E? That was going to be the second and final Delta VF I bought, and I've already bought 4 and considering a 5th now! ;^_^

If I can take a moment to speak as a *cringe* customer service professional who specializes in emails for a very large retailer *cringe* nothing that I've seen from these NY responses is particularly out of the ordinary. It's not fantastic service or communication, and they are bulk template responses, but nothing to indicate any underhanded intent from NY. The consistency of their responses may even be a good thing, since it shows a management-level awareness of the problem. For the record, I hate my job and it's not my intention to come off as condescending. In truth I envy everyone who hasn't been inside the seedy underbelly of customer service.

CDJ only just shipped mine, so given the timing I doubt anyone's done a build yet. Mine are going to take some time since I suck at painting and I plan to paint them in JKai and C colour schemes. I think I'll be keeping the girls unpainted until I feel ready to make them Freya and Mirage.

I'm really looking forward to the armour parts for Arad. I almost wish I'd bought a 31F to hang the parts on because I'm actually not that bothered about Arad's paint job.

Okay, my last bit on this thread for a while: it seems that myself and other CDJ customers have been the lucky ones. I don't know numbers or quantities or dates, but I haven't seen any major issues for CDJ customers and have seen CDJ customers receive their orders (spanner besides myself, IIRC). I really hope the issues get resolved somehow so that we can all share the love <3

I think I need to lay off reading this thread for a couple weeks or so. I've already received my 31A, but last night I had a dream that I'd been sent a 27 instead due to some kind of issue, and woke up wondering whether I'd ever receive my actual order. I don't even think it's fair for me to comment whilst the main topic is fulfilment issues. Could someone ping me if there are any new model announcements or the NY issue gets resolved before the 24th?

Not sure how retail law acts on the international scale, but in the UK at least a retailer has a responsibility to put the customer back in the position that they started in on a broken contract ie. providing a refund in the same manner as they received the funds. If they've got a lot of POs that will fail it's likely that first-line handlers have been told to offer only credit, but if you dig your heels in you may get a cash refund. Bear in mind that the people that read your emails probably have nothing to do with the cause of the issue, so be as kind as you can. Again, all the above is just based on my professional experience in the UK, so not sure how relevant it is globally. Caveat is very emptor.

Sorry to hear about these issues peeps It seems as though the 31A has turned from a sure-thing must-buy to a bad memory for lots of you. I feel legitimately fortunate that mine is arriving tomorrow, all being well.

@TrickyCustomer South Yorkshire division reports similar moves from government agencies. We have to assume they are working to reverse engineer proprietary overtechnology components, these are just stalling tactics.

@TrickyCustomer Just so you know, mine's been sat in Coventry customs for about a week, suspect that the weather has them snarled up. Don't know whether that would impact you though on IOM, as I suspect mine's waiting on import fees.

... Now I gotta wonder what's sat in Coventry waiting for me to pay fees :/ I've triple checked this and the email from CDJ said 31A. Ugh, I hope they don't forget to put my figure aside when they do get the stock since my order's already "fulfilled"

I almost wish I had been wrong at this point, for everyone else's sake, but I'm just waiting for the customs invoice before it arrives. No idea why mine got despatched so early compared to others.
