  1. Is that what this is? I wasn't familiar with the Scheeblume and I have several IHP kits so I went digging here on MW and found the above. I must have missed it the first time. Is that really an IHP kit? Must know more... Carl
  2. WOW!!! I wish I knew how to do something like that. Very nice work. Carl
  3. Thanks for all the input guys. I still wouldn't mind trying to pick up the DVD though. Anyone outside the US willing to help with that? If so PM me... Thanks, Carl
  4. Anyone here seen this yet? http://www-fi3.starwreck.com/ I've read several very good things about it and I was debating about simply ordering the DVD as opposed to trying to download 554Mb. However to be honest their ordering page is Greak to me: http://www-fi1.starwreck.com/dvd/ Actually I assume its Finnish but that doesn't help me much as I don't see Finnish listed here: http://babelfish.altavista.com/ Anyone know of another good translation site I could use? If you've seen this is it worth getting the DVD? Carl
  5. Keeps getting better and better. Very nice work. Carl
  6. WOW!!! Why is it every time I check out this thread I have to pick my jaw up off the floor? The city looks much better. I really like the shot from the park. I also see you put the building I liked back however I think I see 4 copies of it around the city. You never cease to amaze, Carl
  7. By the way, I really liked what I saw of this building too. I like the curves and what looks like a helipad on top. Did you remove it? I don't see it in the last set of pictures. I also like how in this picture the shorter buildings help break up the space between the skyscrapers. Even though most of the buildings are less detailed I think it is better spacing wise. Carl
  8. Well these give me the sense that the buildings are too densely packed, with maybe not enough variation in the size of the buildings. I don't have a 10th of the skill you do so take this as just me trying to be helpful. Personally I think it might be best to start with the street layout you want for your city. From the street layout mark the green areas, the residential areas, the shopping areas, etc. A city isn't just 40+ story skyscrapers. I think streets, cars, a park with trees, a few departments stores with large parking lots, schools, and the sign of a residential area would help alot with making the size of everything look better. Just my 2 cents, Carl
  9. Wow!!! Simply amazing... I don't know what else to say. Carl
  10. He has... here: http://home.comcast.net/~nsknews/SV...hCompressed.AVI and here: http://home.comcast.net/~we-shoppe/SV-513tries.avi I can't wait to see more... Carl
  11. Nice... Is this the one Noel had up on eBay? Carl
  12. Dimes sure aren't what they used to be. Carl
  13. Me too... Captn, I must say even being down here in Mississippi I've already thought about making the trip to Montreal. However I already know what the wife would say. The offer to compensate in kit form I find very very appealing. There is a subject I've always wanted to try and get you to model one of these days (besides the Legioss and Beta and yes I still dream about seeing those some day). But aside from the wife I'm afraid if I ever had that built-up VF-1 Valkyrie + booster of yours in my hands I'd forget all about St. Louis. Carl
  14. Is this the one we've seen photos of before? If not I'd like to see pics. I'm a big fan of your work. Carl
  15. I think they had planned on or would like to attending more WF events. At least that is the feeling I get from what little feedback I've gotten from them. I'm not sure what's keeping them from coming to more. Carl
  16. The same is true for Macross. I think the license limits them to 20 kits per year which for WF comes to 10 kits per event. Carl
  17. I think they were about 3000yen at the event. Not sure of that at the moment, I should have the exact figure somewhere. The going price on Yahoo Japan seems to be in the 5000yen to 10000yen range or about $50 to $100. Carl
  18. WOW!!! My jaw is on the floor. I can't wait to see more. Carl
  19. Both of mine came from Yahoo Japan. You might also be able to get them at furture Wonder Festival events however I don't think HRG had a booth at the last two. Does any one know if HRG has a web page? You might also be able to contact them directly. Carl
  20. It's a high quality white resin. Are you familiar with resin kits? I'd recomend not treating it as you would a toy. Carl
  21. Yes, both kits are exactly the same. Will yours be variable? Have you shared any pictures of your work so far? I'd like to see... Carl
  22. This is the VR-41 that I don't have yet. 1:18 Here is a pic of HRG's VR-38. Which I don't think has actually been released yet. This is from the last Winter Wonder Festival catalog. However I was told HRG was a no show because they failed to get the kit licensed. Enjoy, Carl
  23. Thanks for the info Noel. Do you have any idea how many they sold at the Summer 2002 Wonder Festival? I'm guessing no more then 20 but I assume it could have been much less then that too. Just curious, Carl
  24. The kit on the right is another kit that I got in the mail yesterday. Looks like another kit maker that completely redesigns their labels for each event. Anyone know which event the one on the left is from? I don't. Enjoy, Carl
  25. Yes and no. Let me explain. At the one event I'm aware these were sold at they were sold without fast packs. The kit pictured in my first post doesn't have a fast pack. However D'Stance did later make fast packs for this kit. There are pictures of it here: http://park1.wakwak.com/~jasshy/yf21.html But I'm not aware of this kit ever being sold with fast packs or of a fast pack upgrade kit being offered. That said, I'm not certain we've seen the last of D'Stance. I've been trying for 3 years to get a kit from them and I haven't given up yet. If I'm ever lucky enough to get one I'll certainly be happy to offer as many photos as you want. How is your 1:48 YF-21 coming along? Any photos of it? Carl
